Oh yes, my #1 favorite English cover that Angel Gabriel😇 sings. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 and yes he has many beautiful English covers, but for me nothing has topped this!!! Many have come close and I mean many, but I just can't get myself to like anything more than this one. He takes me on a heavenly journey with Jesus that I don't really want to come back from 😂😂😂😂😂 As far as his Portuguese covers, I cannot for the life of me pick just one cover that I love the most. I think it's because he's singing about Jesus in them and I just love them all so much, but I do have a top five, but not in any specific order.

A couple of week ago I watched his video "Nao Irei" released 7 or 8 months ago under Maximus records, It's different he sings with his own band and Back vocals,it's worth watching, the lyrics are in Portuguese but I believe the English transcript you will find it at bottom of the screen. Ok he’s amazing! I will say. He stays true to the song for 3/4. His break is easy to catch later on because the key changes and he avoids some runs. Then he whistle tones on other high runs he probably prefers to avoid. I’d imagine because they’re in that place in his voice. Supposed to be a belt but so hard to do at the break in the voice. That’s my impression of where he chose to place whistle tones. As a vocal coach, I’d recommend that highly! But who knows! It’s artist preference and he does a superb job!
Should I even tell you that Phelps covers Whitney’s other song, I Have Nothing? With just a piano and cello. Maybe Joyce reviewed it already. I’ll look…. I hope you’ve seen it. Tremendous!
