@@Ryan-S680 over exaggerating a bit there.Look Jesus had a tough year with injuries but you forget what he did for us last year and how he transformed Arsenal.I think it's fair to give him another shot because when he was fit and playing he was clutch for us like against Bayern with the brilliant assist. If he doesn't perform next year then yes I agree he has to go
Gabriel Jesus plays a lot like a winger considering he’s great at dribbling and passing. Either he looks to pass after dribble or shoot if he’s 100% sure he will score. If he improves on shot timing and just takes more chances, he will be a defence’s nightmare. If the opportunity is good, just shoot, even if you miss, just don’t consistently miss badly.
@TheNwosu he's a sacrificial lamb. City didn't had a decent striker back then after aguero left. So jesus had to fill in the spot. But he was expendable and sold to arsenal. Honestly, unless he starts scoring more often, it would be better for arsenal if they would buy a clinical striker to replace him
I love jesus. Hes a player for who you come to the stadium. the way he breaks ankles, the techinque. He just doesnt score. Sad to see he never improved in that department. could have been such a big player.
Brazil went from R9 to Jesus. He isn't bad by any means, but he definitely isn't a number 9. He's one of those players who are really good when played in a very specific system, otherwise just straight up frustrating.
He was a baller back in the brazilian national team of 2016/17, scoring more goals than Neymar at that time. But to do what guardiola wanted, he was forced to change his style, and start playing as a winger and focusing too much at the defense. So the 2018 WC came and he didnt even score one goal. Brazilians fans destroyed him, and since then he couldnt recover his confidence. Its sad, becouse when you see the video and what jesus does sometimes, you realize how giant was his potential.
He wants to pass or be 100% sure he will score Afraid of missing? He said in an interview that scoring goals is not his forte… for a forward? He should shoot more and miss more, some will go in. I still like watching him play though
Imagine hearing: I had potential to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world actually but saving shots isn’t my forte and that’s why I didn’t go pro That’s how stupid it sounds. Firmino did a lot of other stuff not involving scoring goals, but difference is that he did finish the ones with good conversion rate when he gets those chances… Jesus is just not good enough to be the main striker for a team challenging for titles
@@jacobalexander4167 this argument is so weak it’s pathetic. You don’t need to be a chef to tell if food tastes good, you don’t need to be a movie director to tell if a movie is good, you don’t need to play football to criticize a player
@@Tallybby well, that may be the job of a winger but according to RU-vid “football experts” that’s also the job a striker. In fact if a striker scores a lot he is not good, he’s only good if he completed 3000 dribbles and gets 496 touches on the ball
@@user-um6oe6hn4p correct. Dribbling trumps everything. Dribbling is what will make your team win the final, not scoring. Glad someone over here has football knowledge
@@CR7_THEGOAT777 Goals win games not dribbles lmao. Dribbling can be that individual brilliance needed to score a goal but it can also be a hazard to the team.
@@micahmatadeen7486 nope. According to RU-vid “football experts” dribbling is the key to winning matches, followed by number of touches. Scoring does not benefit the team. They’re the experts remember. They know best
I would love to see a compilation of a player who does a lot of risky passes. Would be interesting to see how often they play out and how often they get punished. At Arsenal mostly jorginho, zinchenko and partey play risky passes i think.
More specifically he cost us the league in the game against west ham at home where Odegaard kept on creating chance after chance & he kept on missing one after another. The same shit happened in the two games against Southampton last season. He is beyond crap & we should be doing everything we can to get rid. Even that would be a problem as no one will pay decent money for a guy who had 4 goals last season & is on obscene wages
you don't know an ounce about football. He plays this way because he is overconfident. He is a street player playing professional and this is his play style and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
He's indecision is frustrating. No strikers instinct at all. Sometimes you just need to put your foot through the ball early before the keeper or defender can have a think
The perfectly delayed shot is undefendable. Real skill is knowing exactly when to delay. Some players like the comfort of knowing that you can sit a defender down while you create space to get a free shot. I do that all the time in FIFA.
Very good player ,should learn to time his shots ,we have an asset in him and arteta should know the matches that suit him and play him in them ,mostly in the champions league
He needs to decide when to dribble when to shoot like for city he let defenders block..pass it then!frustrating sometimes..spurs at home too very clear chances
He drives me nuts. Takes way too many unnecessary touches. There's such a big advantage to hitting that ball early. Saka has a tendency to the same nonsense too. Where they have to take another touch before they hit the ball 🤦
