I went for a test drive today and experienced the throttle issue as well. I thought the car might actually have a throttle problem. Then I realized we were testing the same unit. No wonder... 🤣🤣 ( Gonna test other unit see whether the issue still exist )
Mine was the same too, definitely its the characteristic/flaw of the car. Even in eco mode, the throttle is too sensitive, and it frightened my wife too when trying to drive in stop and go traffics
My R style emzoom in my country (Philippines) has 19inch wheels with Michelin Pilot sport 4. We have been using for 6months. So far no issue with 10,000km+ mileage since Nov 2023.
In Malaysia, on the second day the infotainment system has already started lagging causing blind spot camera to not activate. After one week, the reverse camera and 540 camera were also affected. Third week the air cond and app that control our vehicle window also affected. And yes, we didn't get 19 inch rim and MC PS4, air cond ambient light, Sport+ mode

We didn't get the real R-Style here and we are getting low spec infotainment system for both executive and premium r. This low spec infotainment system doesn't have features which are common nowadays like voice command, smart assistant etc and it's hardware is low which already start lagging the second day I got my car, now just one month and already lag like 6 years old car. The lagginess causes delay and no show sometimes for the blind spot camera, reverse camera and 540° camera. Several spec cut like air cond ambient light, 19inch R-Style rims, MC PS4 tyre, Sport+ mode. So we are not real R-Style. 2023 year end new model, 2024 new car but you are actually getting a 2018 model, 6 years old car. Car is great, low fuel consumption, powerful powertrain, spacious but compact, just the tech part of this car is terrible. So be prepared of these if you are considering this car. I'm the owner of this car and these are what I want to tell others after one month of having this car. Now owners are waiting for solutions and decisions from management about these problems.
I think all of us need to test drive first and feel sendiri dia punya driving experience.. For me this car is far better than X50 especialy in term of handling and driving experience, but breaking X50 is slightly better. About the throttle in low speed, i already drove this car and i found that the throttle is quite good. Uncle from channel "I love Melaka Cars" also has a different opinion about this throttle which 'terbalik' dgn apa yg bro Bobby said.. So we need to test drive sendiri and feel sendiri... OK ke KO 😁

As far I know, this model GAC, the salesman told me the exhaust sounds can be control by main screen and the price looking at from RM 118k (Executive) and RM 128k (Premium) model
I was behind this car at Puchong yesterday. The center dual exhaust and rear look caught my attention and was the 1st time seeing one ever. So had to get closer abit to see the badge and brand, lol.

We urgently request the manufacturer to provide solutions and address these issues promptly. Firstly, the infotainment system has serious lag problems. This lag not only affects the driving experience but also poses a safety risk. Especially when reversing and using the turn signals, the infotainment system responds very slowly, severely impacting driving safety and convenience. The issue has now become so severe that when the turn signal is activated, the corresponding image does not even appear on the screen. Secondly, the keyless entry and automatic locking features are unstable. Even with the correct settings, sometimes the doors do not open or lock automatically, requiring manual operation. These issues greatly reduce the convenience and security of the keyless system. These problems not only significantly impact my and other users’ experience but are also becoming increasingly serious. We urgently hope the manufacturer can take immediate measures to resolve these issues, ensuring the vehicle’s safety and convenience.
As a Peugeot fan.... I rather drive this in the city than the 408. Very nippy, I think it's better than the proton X50, only the brakes lose to proton. Rear space is very good, elderly parents will appreciate the space and ease of getting in and out. I don't know what the standard of gearbox settings but my test drive was alright, I don't like the hill hold assist, it ruins my acceleration control. Maybe that's the lurching feel you are talking about. It drives better with the hill hold assist off.
@@BobbyAngmalaysia oh that. Probably i subconsciously ignored that. Im so used to driving without much engine braking feel from my Almera at crawl speeds.
i think its time to up the ante in car reviewing. now, almost every car can handle everything at low speed. how about try doing 10km/30km highspeed (maybe at 150kmh) to see if all these car is really built that well. for context, myvi is always in fast lane overtaking bimmers and merc. but inside,they are shaking like wanna roboh compared when we do that same speed with luxury car. just an opinion. thank you.
@@BobbyAngmalaysia because as i said almost every car can will pass daily driving review, almost indifferent to one another. now that chinese car is flooding our mass market, there will be more cars to review, but almost nothing that they can compare among them. except at one particular aspect, highway driving.
