I've never liked Gachagua and never supported KK at any moment, but I don't like how he's being targeted for witch-hunting by Ruto. Who between him and Ruto is more corrupt? Ruto has been involved in 10 public land scandals -- 2 he returned to the government, 2 he was in court for (Ngong' forest and Adrian Muteshi's land which he was found guilty of illegally occupying). That's just land. There are many cases of Ruto doing business with government, including housing the police at Easton Apartments. Who is more tribal? Ruto publicly threatened (on KTN) "alien" tribes living in his then Eldoret North constituency. The consequences were dire in 2008. Gachagua has never publicly threatened whole ethnic communities. Ruto's appointments have been very ethnically skewed. Former UDA VP Seth Panyako said that Ruto is surrounded by 5 people, all from his Rift Valley region, who control access to him. He spent 5 years in Mt. Kenya inciting them against "watu wa kung'oa reli".
