I gather you're a fan of this awesome band, just like me. Do you have any idea how to get a copy of "Virgin-A" (the album)? I've managed to order pretty much everything else (tour CDs, EPs, and the rest, most of them arrived a long time ago), but no luck on their debut album,,,
+Trippy72Spore I know I'm a year late but it is out of print. You either need to get REALLY lucky on the secondary market or pray for a reissue. You are not the only one seeking this hard to find treasure.
@GacharicSpin is a amazing band, has a very talented female musicians, we need some of that music here, come to Argentina and Latin America please!!!!!
How great is this??!! WithArmmy, they were destined to be GLOBAL!! I really believe they were the Wild Stallions of our time. Maybe, if Dolls$Boxx went full time, we could have a chan e of world peace? Miss Armmy! :( A
Hi! just....i'm awe of Koga bass playing...since Pink Panda band..i followed her and her fabulous game! lol! et peu importe combien sommes nous...nous y croyons. Yeah!
Armmy makes this song. Hana (and Fuki) might be awesome but the later versions of this song just can't stand up to Armmi's vocals. I'll miss you Armmi!
I miss terribly, the old GS with Armmy. Some say that Armmy's vocals lacked range, and I'm OK with that. I'm very sad that Armmy has been taken from us. The combination of musicians that formed Doll$Boxx is amazing. Like so many of us, I want more Boxx!
Singers with the range and power of Fuki you can count on the fingers of one hand. But singers with the charm and charisma of Armmy are much, much rarer still.
This is getting kind of repetitive: every time I find a 'favorite' song by featuring Hana, Koga and Tomozo, I find a new one! This is currently my new favorite (until the next one...).
Perhaps by design. Having a solid frontman to work the crowd is really helpful during a live show. The comparison trotted out is always Van Halen. Sammy Hagar was the better singer, guitarist and song writer but David Lee Roth was way more of a showman. When he was onstage, Roth ‘owned’ the audience. On some level, I think GS had been missing that.
what is the name of this electronic music?. i know gacharic spin is a band of many styles (electronic, pop, metal, rock) but i want know what kind of electronic sounds here. example,i think the synth's melody of the intro and the chorus is caracteristic of the japan's music. is similar to eurodance but i think this is different...so, what style is this?
Yeah, exactly. Some people think GS had changed their sound but Juicy Beats is a prime example that they've always been this way. Sekira Liar is also similar to More Power in a way. The band has a strong root... that's why it's always awesome to see what they come out with next.
more power is a bit out of place. if you listen to the songs armmy sang they were either pop/dance or more blues oriented with some experimentation in between(ben jan dan?). with dollboxx hana was writing for fuki who came from a progressive metal band so the style was more metal but with all of hana's neat little tweeks. after that hana was writing for herself as lead and the style rapidly became hard rock with a punk vocal feel. never say never and perception come to mind. again lots of variation on the theme. more power was written early and there is even a vid floating around of armmy singing it reasonably well. but when you hear the later hana vocal ver, you realize that this could have easily been written five years later than it was. whats amazing is that even early on hana new the music she wanted to write but had to wait until she was lead voc. to create more than one example. sekira liar was really the last of the true hana inspired music, happening just after getting their label and being pushed in a more pop direction. i will listen to the later hana stuff(don't bring me down was not of hana's doing) b/c its hana and GS but haven't heard anything to add to the dozen songs from delicious and winner( i did add sekira liar recently) on my mp3 player which plays in my truck five or six hours a day.
armmy no death guys look profile and twitter ok acitivate now in band indie with ex-guitar gacharic eita, hana you dont main dancer no good but funny aishiteru monogatari.
I'm bound to lose the inner fight to hold down my sexual urge for them everytime I listen to this song/watch this MV. Sorry, I guess I lost my head again...
