now that i've listened to both versions of the song for years, i feel like they're both perfect in different ways... in the original, you could feel that he was hurting. you could hear the pain in his voice. it was much more raw, like an outcry. this version, however, feels more like a tribute or a celebration of sorts (to kami of course), a revisiting to show that he still cares greatly. his vocals have improved drastically and the production of the song itself is better, but like i said the tone is different. he's such a fantastic vocalist it's insane.
@@Arcanua no I actually figured out what happened, because I didn't like this version so much I replaced it with the original one from the mars album hahaha I come here because I just realised how "with or without you" from U2 and this song are so effin similar
