Great channel Denis. Back Alley Diagnostics recommended your channel and that’s where I was introduced to the Hscope . I’ve also been in touch with Martin Loren . Would I purchase the products through yourself or Martin Loren. I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes. Great talking to all of you. I still have my Sears first toolbox and my timing light , compression / vacuum gauge , and the tach and dwell setup from back in the mid sixties. I love all my tools. I will be purchasing a Samsung android tablet to get the show on the road. Thanks for sharing your videos. 👍

Nice setup sir. I am using Chrysler MAP sensor with my picoscope . Nice thing about picoscope is ability to customize different probes and scope will do conversion of voltage to pressure. 👍

I have a vacuum gauge connected to my motorcycle, but relative pressure, I need one like yours, the map sensor you use is ideal, it just doesn't exist here in Brazil, importing is very expensive, I'll do the transducer with what I get here, thanks Denis

Were you blowing compressed air past the end of the hose to draw vacuum in the hose? Another thought about syncing A and B channels: if you are chasing a problem, say compression problem of some sort, you can use some cylinder sync like injector or ignition event command / pulse to determine what cylinder is affecting vacuum. If you have a cylinder misfire, for example, OBDII may tell you the cylinder that the PCM identifies as faulty, but you need to identify the cause: loss of fuel, loss of spark, or loss of compression. Fuel and spark do not affect cylinder breathing but cylinder sealing problems do. A rule of thumb we used to use is if you have variations in the MAP voltage >0.05V you should suspect a cylinder sealing issue. Vacuum will vary when you watch engine vacuum on the scope due to valve overlap and turbulence, but you won't see that on the gauge, but normal running engine the fluctuations will be less than 0.05V.

Vacuum source some kind of a venture, we've used a blow gun and a piece of a hose to siphon gas out of the fuel tank.. same idea?
