Could someone please measure the exact dimensions of the front diffusion on the P600c softbox? I’m wondering if the DOP choice magic cloth 2’x3’ softbox diffusion will fit the aputure box.
I can also confirm the fit onto 2x1 Gemini soft, I'm probably going to buy two more for my Gemini rather than the DOP choice ones which I'm currently running on the Gemini. As i can replace both for less then the cost of just one soft box not including the egg crates
Had one for a few months, very happy but a Majic Cloth type diffusion would be great. Value for money I like the light and built in ballast is an advantage will defiantly get more of them. Cheers
Great review, I was looking at grabbing one but pre-ordered the Orion 675 FS and was torn between them (If I wanted to return the 2 Orion's and grab 2 of these.) Have you had a chance to test the 675 FS from Prolycht?
Hello I would like to know if you have worked Amir Mokri. Last I heard he was residing in Australia. We are fellow cinematography students at the American Film Institute back in 1982.
Great video as usual, thank you. I got a question regarding the soft light. If a bigger source makes a light softer, why are there so many types of diffusion gels and filters? What difference between a 410 and a 216, for example?
When the sun shines, we have a very small dot in the sky lighting us, so we have sharp shadows. When that same tiny dot lights us through a cloud, or fully cloudy sky, we have little to no shadows, as the entire sky lights us. So, a wider source "wraps" around objects, filling in the shadows. Diffs help wrap and spread the light more while also altering the way it transmits
@@Henriqueiros they all give more or less light loss and will mix/soften the light in different ways by spreading it differently. More something you'll see by changing them out and experimenting, unless of course, if it's a more transparent diff, which will be really obvious
