@@gaffergear Yeah, the d-tap on those is advertised at 120W/10A out, but found out that isn't true ;) So super great to see these batteries work on those lights!
@@gaffergear Any updates on using these? What lights have you been using them on successfully? I bought two of the 99c and they turn off pretty fast (1-2min) with 100W sustained draw, so not at all up to their "D-TAP: 14.4V 10A" rating... and make my 60Xs dim pretty significantly when they hit 70% battery and fade even more as they drain lower... CameTV offers a full refund when I wrote a bad review, so makes me think they know of the issue?
@@dbatchphoto Thats really poor, I'm wondering if they stuck 99Wh stickers on some 50Wh by mistake. Because it sounds exactly like me trying to run the 60c of the 50wh.
I remeber also in ur colbor cl220 u said that the wattage of them are diff from your batteries for your other lights Whats a battery that you suggest for doing events. That would power the Neewer CB100C at 100% for a decent amount of time. Below 200$ USD. Tbh i never would need the light to run above 50% though
As someone who runs and loves their forza 60c, I wonder about the benefits of these V-Mounts over sticking with the NPFs that it came with, as the NPF should power it for longer if my math is right (2x7800mAh compared to 1x6875) and have similar weight.
❤1st🙏hey boss, I know it's not gaffer level. But for entry newbie like me. Would you consider reviewing the Neweer CB100c since you reviewed the colbor cl220 another budget pick. Would be curious to learn your thoughts
I get that it let's them hit a lower price point but I just have never seen the point in 50Wh V-Mounts. Even on a camera you would only get a couple hours maximum. And as you showed even on a 60W light they aren't big enough to provide the current for higher draw loads. The 99's seem good thought and those are the smallest capacity that I think are worth the squeeze.
