In the second movie, they do mention Ellie. While telling the story of the Creeds, the school bully says that Ellie is sent to live with her grandparents, and axe-murders them months later. Of course, it's heavily implied that it's just a story that's been twisted by the townsfolk.
I love the ending to this vid. "Come back to me, Gage." Then you see what appears to be Gage's tiny hand breaking out from the rocks, but we soon learn that he is no longer the adorable, innocent Gage we fell in love with from before. God, I love this movie and book.
*I can think of no other horror greater than of losing a child, my aunt lost her son the same age as gage in a similar tragic* *accident, I think of it everytime I watch this amazing movie. The melancholy is unparallelled...*
I still have a hard time watching this movie just because of Gage. I cried my eyes out when he got hit by the truck and then I cried again when his Dad stuck him in the neck (seeing those memories the dad was seeing was so sad) and he said "No fair"...even though he was really an evil demon. Something about babies just pulls my heart strings...
her brother used to cross the road every day to come pick her up from school. I couldn't believe it then... Now that I think back to what she told me, I realize what bad parents she had. I'm sure her brother would still be alive today if they had only kept their eyes on him. This movie brings back all those memories...
One of the most horrible, sad and tragic incidents in a movie. Sure, accidents can happen, but made me wonder why certain precautions weren't taken by parents! I mean, cripes! You're living on a busy highway with 18 wheelers whizzing by, how about putting up a fence??
I used to have a friend who had a little brother who look JUST like Gage. He was the cutest little thing ever, and I loved him. Unfortunatly, he died at the young age of 2 or 3.... He was playing with a screwdriver, and he drove it through his head. It was so unreal... Before he died, my friend and I were having a coversation.. We were 5 or 6 then... I told her I wasn't allowed walking home by myself. She looked at me funny, and told me that it was really strange since
This is demented, but even as a kid it didn't make sense to me that Gage would come back as a whole person with a tiny scratch on his head. I'm pretty sure getting taken out by a truck would have done some major smooshy damage. That said, I realize the movie wouldn't have had the same flair if Gage had come back in pieces.
:''( Wonderful music choice and editing/timing. And the end with him breaking out of the grave while making baby sounds. :P Those who didn't know better might think it's all gonna be OK. :P
gage was my fav character in pet sematary , I really liked the baby but it made me really think when I had my son , I watched him like a hawk so he wouldnt die or be hurt
And then I would NOT have flown a kite with my kids that near the road... (Especially if my toddler had nearly been hit before but save by the neighbour.) This is a great story and that needed to happen in order for the message to be there, but I just wish it wouldn't have happened because of the parents' utter stupidity. I mean, it could've happened even if they'd been careful.
Just around the front and back yard to keep the kids and the dog in untill they were old enough to learn road sense...Besides that', he's a doctor anyway. He could afford to do the council land as well..
He tripped over nothing so it his fault Gage died. Sad though tooT_T They should have been paying attenion! It would have taken Gage like five minutes to cross the field and the father was blabbing away that long! And noboby facing Gage was watching him ethier? This is why you should never turn your back on a child who dosnt know any better. In fact, Never turn your back on any child! Even if its not yours! A childs a child! We are theyr protecters.
Hi. Doing a "tribute to Gage Creed", it's nice to credit the actor Miko Hughes. Also Stephen King is the author of the book and Mary Lambert the director of the film. I don't know who's music you used.
Awesome Movieee!!!! But the American Peterbilt trucks are awesome until Trampling children heheheheheheheheh... Pet Sematary and Peterbilt Rulez!!!!!!!
@WTF7176 Well i think the first thing he should have done was to never take his eye off Gage. Even with a fence up he should still watch him but he turned his back on him long enough for him to walk across the field and nobody was watching him till he got there. Even if theres a distance, never take your eye off a child when theres a road near by. R.I.P Gage creed. I absolutely HATED this part.
Hi all pet sematary fans and gage creed fans! i have made a music video with gage creed you just have to watch it! its really SAD! but i hope i could capture it good enough for you to feel it! Enjoy
@shikamaru826 yeah he is. not because he left gage alone, because he was tending to the other child. but thinking about how he thought nothing would happen if he burried gage up there, and then after he kills gage twice, he burries his WIFE up there.
@chrissy200384 Yeah, really. Who lets their 1 year old son toddle all by himself THAT close to a fucking road with trucks speeding down it day and night??? Sad thing is, I see people doing that same shit in real life and just want to slap some sense into the parents!!
And then your wife dies, by you bringing your son back to life, and you bring her back after the baby went evil, and she goes evil. You then die, and your other child has lost everybody.
