Awesome video! Thank you for going through the entire process. I am looking for a machines just like this! Just wondering if there is a newer or better machine that offers the same exact things - automatic espresso and professional steam wand.
Great review! I really enjoy your team work and the energy and synergy between you. I just ordered the Cadorna after months of soul searching whether I wanted a semi-auto or a super-auto. Your video helped me decide. Thanks!
@@veronicaforsman the Cadorna has been a lot of fun. I mostly make espressos, Luongos, and Flat Whites, all of which are excellent out of the Cadorna. Let me know what else you’d like to know
@@JeffJacquesmd Do you find the wand awkward to work with because it gets so hot or is the upper handle there enough to manage it just fine? And are you finding the puck container telling you to empty it after only 3 or 4 pucks land in there??
@@veronicaforsman Great questions. I haven’t found the wand to be difficult to use, I use a small folded over cloth for both managing the wand and to clean up after foaming milk. The puck bin does occasionally alert to empty it with just a couple of pucks. I think some sensor inside gets coated in grounds and falsely indicates it should be emptied. I clean the puck bin and the reservoir tray daily and that seems to mitigate it. Not really much of an issue, TBH
Nice review. I am in the way to purchase one so not sure if its the correct decision. Previously owned Delonghi Dinamica Plus which failed on milk frother, otherwise all was ok with it (send it back after 2 months). I am looking now for Gaggia Cadorna Prestige model? Would you recommend it over any other ones? I do like the auto ones as takes way less time and mess to deal with them. Probably the quality also depends from a Barista Manual machine. Any advice for all this details?
Really depends on your desire for milk froth control. Gaggia wins in my opinion on Superautomatics having that wand. Best for Temp, latte art. For push of a button machines, I still put Jura at the top, then Miele.
@@ecscoffeeinc The only thing is that my wife needs something more AUTO (mode), as she don't like to do herself milk etc. We curently have the SAGE Barista PRO semi-auto, so i am in the middle of replacing it with this Gaggia Cadorna Prestige, but i am little bit confused. I do like and want quality coffee/espresso, and we most use Cappuccino's +, Latte's and Americanos. We don't want wattery coffee. I do believe the Cadorna Prestige is the even better model from Gaggia. So any advice please?
We are big Jura fans to be honest. The only advantage to this over a Jura in our opinion is the wand. Jura does not offer a milk steam wand on their Superautomatics.
Researching a machine as a graduation gift for my son. I have a Jura he loves, but we do t like him that much😂🤣😂 we are considering the Gaggia Cardona with auto Milk dispenser or the Phillips 5400. Which is the better machine, and easier to clean?
