Tina O Brien just hasn’t changed at all has she. She’s such a talented actress. She was brilliant in that live episode when Callum got killed by Kylie.
I miss when they gave Helen serious stuff to do. Gail’s a good humour character, but I just wish she just had the chance to do something like this again.
This storyline didn't really work, when Gail gave David the fake birthday he could have easily told Sarah which would have made more sense if she was the sender, trying to get Violet in trouble
The comedy is definitely intended. I'm British, and watch all 4 episodes per week. It's the only British soap that (imo) brilliantly combines comedy and drama.
Because she found out David sent birthday cards to his sister, gran and mother from his late stepdad who killed his ex wife, tried to kill Audrey and Emily and he killed one of their next door neighbors Maxine. And Richard Hillman tried to kill himself, Gail, Sarah Bethany and David by driving them all into the canal.
I THOUGHT I WAS GOING MAD!!! YOU KNEW THIS!!! YOU WORST IT HAPPENED AND YOU CARRY ON SENDING THOSE CARDS!!!!! Gail lashes out at David after he is a card sender. 😬😬😬😬
@@2elss yeah but Phill had every right because David for no reason made Phil out to be a bad person when Phil didn’t mean to upset anyone by using Richard Hillman’s Story as a backstory thing.
the family were receiving birthday'mothers day cards signed by Gails murderer husband Richard Hillman who was dead. Everyone thought it was Gail's boyfriend Phil who she eventually threw out but she then suspected David, and set a trap for him by letting slip it was Richards birthday, to see if she would get a card!
How could David do this to his family? sending cards on special occasions and signing them "Love Richard" from the man who nearly killed them and murdered Maxine Peacock. It doesn't make any sense, the Platt family went through a traumatic experience after what Richard did and it affected David greatly. It doesn't excuse his sick sense of humor or the hell he's put Gail & Sarah through.
Correct. After everything he does she makes excuses for him and says “oh he’s unhappy how can I treat him to make him feel better”. Then proceeds to buy him a car
Sarah and David wouldn't have necessarily known that but Gail knew the date. She lied to David to set him up after finding a box of cards in David's room.
Wait...I don't know if I'm losing my marbles here but... The plan with that last card doesn't make sense. If it was this "Richard's" birthday...then why would HE send a "happy birthday" card from himself and to who? "Dear Richard, Happy Birthday. Love Richard" ??????
Gail is right kids learn from others but most of all there parents in this case Gail and Gail I put Gail for both mother and father because Gail would not let Martin be the dad as always me me me
