The first time I heard “ I’m A Child of the King “was in First Church of the Nazarene in Warner Robins Georgia. Jerry Avnet sang it. I have never heard a more beautiful song. I think I really associate that song with the Speer Family. Mom, Dad, Ben and the beautiful bass voice of Brock Speer. They have all gone on to heaven now. What a tremendous impact they had and still have on Christian music. I have everything that the Gaithers ever put out. Wouldn’t take a million dollars for all that music because so many of those wonderful Christian singers have already gone on to heaven. And when I have gone on to heaven someone is going to have a treasure trove of that wonderful music.

I've been a child of the King since I was 24 1974. I was in the hospital and wasn't sure if I'd live through the night. And my other option was I'd be left in the vegetable state. God had other plans. I lived was had no medical issues. I went on serving him in a bus ministry for 25 yrs. Sunday school teacher for 8 years nursery director for 5 yrs. It was all these ministries at one time. Than after all of these services I became church decorator. Due to my health I had to retire from all of it. But now I personally on myself do monthly birthdays for everyone. God has blessed me in ableing to afford it. He's my Heavenly Father. I'm so thankful for all of my blessings 🙏🙏🙏💚🧡💜

Cant wait to see these guys perform tonight @ Overlake Christian Church, Redmond, Washington. I have to pinch myself because I have been a fan for many years; yet finally saw they were coming to my area. God delivered me from a life of addiction and alcoholism, sadly, wasting most of my life to it all; now realizing that His love is the only thing that truly satisfies me. The joy of the Lord is my strength !!! Stay in the Word of God friends, the world is pulling us in every direction possible. Churches are watering down the Gospel of Jesus Christ, by staying in His word, and in prayer and fellowship with the saint, we can grow and bear fruit by the Holy Spirit. Oh yes He's coming back !!!! I am ready now !!! Thank You Jesus for making it possible to spend eternity with God almighty and His precious son.
