Newer player here. I agree that having characters that have clearer defined roles are more interesting and healthy for the game, compared to espers that are just great at everything. BUT, it's also dangerous waters because like your video said a few days ago, Lilith shouldn't just constantly sell the solution to new content, older espers need to continue to receive love!
Oi Zox? Gaius is Master of None? One of the best Stripers in the game at R6, and if he strips he also inflicts buff blocker, blocking subsequent buffs (Also he is one of the fastest Stripers at 101+10 with 100% ACC!!!!) He has the best AoE Nuke hands down, 150% +8% of targets max Hp and at R6 he can deal 260% on at least 2 targets?! He gives 20% Acc or CR just by being on the field at R2, no buff that expires, nothing! Ah, and 100% Stun on S1, With Sear and Buff Extension. Gaius is GAWD bro XD Note: Yes Nuxi might be faster and has a better % to strip, but Nuxi will not kill Hyde or JYY, while Gaius can kill them :)
I get where he’s coming from but I also got stuck on this part. Gaius would be more like ‘Master of many’. It doesn’t mean there aren’t any espers that can be similar in speciality but it doesn’t deter from the fact that Gaius is a top tier at it as well, as per your comment. What I would also add to the specialty roster for Gaius is his ‘bonus turn’. When you have an event that requires bonus turn espers, all of a sudden Gaius is a master.
They really need to start putting out 3* that are decent. Like worh each pantheon there's plenty of low tier beings, like Chinese you can put stuff in like Jiang Shi or Japanese has lots of low ranking yokai like Kara-obake or Kappa. Units like Medusa is like a really good example of a good 3* that I still use today. They need a more diverse 3* roster too for other contents
Totally agree. I try to get all of the free units. THEY'RE FREE! It never gonna hurt to pick up at least a copy of characters. Never know when they'll be good.
With each month we get more espers and the way to go forward either powercreep or niche use. I'd rather have niche espers than ones that get replaces every 6 months. The problem with that is that abilimon are so rare that it's hard to invest them in niche units.
I have been playing since right after the Ollie banner and I went the whole time without Gaius never wished for him or anything and my account has been just fine then on this last update I pulled him randomly I have been leveling him up and stuff but I definitely didn't rush to get him
Why can't they add purple experimons to Sonic Rift? The blue ones don't help very much. I leveling up Epsers is a pain. I've been trying to finish Ritual Miracles, and I need to level up some units. 😢

I believe that the more units released... the harder it gets for someone to be a new player... thus no new players. This is why, Each unit released cuts up the 5star draw potential pie more.. Harder to res 5stars and get dupes when there are 100 of em vs 30 of em. Lol
I kinda regretted not having Gab maxed out because at that time, my units weren't strong enough to farm the materials to get her, and I stopped playing for a while around that time
@@Ak17771 he was my go-to def in my core team. Reliable choice to match with Gaius for trying out new modes and events. Once I get my strategy down I go more specific-usage.
I'm definitely trying to take advantage of all I can as a new player, but some stuff is just a slow process for me. I got Sally from Spatial tower and I've 3 starred everything up to the end of Purgatory, but I'm still behind on Esper Fusions since I still have lots of espers to bring up for the requirements. I'm making sure to keep it up, just hope I can max them out before its all gone. Sucks I didnt join when Gabby was in Esper Fusion, but I'll just have to snatch her up later on. Maybe I'll get her while rolling for Javid? Guess I'll find out lol. Great video btw!
@@rogerdodger1984 the thing is with high end content where the enemy's have a lot of hp your just better off using Pandora with jiang man for wave cleaning my gauis has 4.5k attack with 235 crit damage and he doesn't even come close to what Pandora and jiang man can do I fill like gauis falls off when it comes to high end content I still like him he just became more useless the higher the enemy's become still use him in my Kronos 16 team tho so i will always have a place for him
Team composition tends to happen with games like these as they get older. But I wouldn't think that is all there will be. I think we're making some giant assumptions based on celestial anomaly's introduction. Let's see how things pan out over the next few months and then we can discuss if everything is going to be about team composition or if we'll still get units here or there that are good at everything.
