We've been working on the project slowly but steadily over the past year, but we could really use some more help, so we decided to release a video showing off a little bit of recent progress that we have made, as well as being a quick introduction to our project.

Try your best to spread the word then. Our ultimate success or failure is going to be decided based on how much enthusiasm and talent people can give to the project. We will probably want help in unit design and balancing eventually, but we are not quite at that stage yet. Stay tuned though. If I start working on the mod and unit design seriously, we could be at that stage fairly soon.

3ds max or Maya work pretty well. If you have the time to learn 3d modeling, go ahead, it sounds like an awesome thing to learn. Good luck, and if we're still operating by the time you feel as though you have enough of it figured out, we would love to have you on our team. I wouldn't learn 3d modeling just for this project though. Learn it if you think it would be awesome to learn!

You make me want to buy starcraft II just because of this. Also, I'm a C programmer but a limited one, I don't think i'll be much help since I don't have nor how to use modelling programs.

Hm, I like the idea and I'd really like to help but I don't have much experience in 3d modeling/animating. And besides that I'm not very useful unless you need help in unit design and balancing.
