Galactic Fun In Star Wars Galaxy's Edge! | Building A Lightsaber, Millennium Falcon POV & Play App!

In today's video we head to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios for the media preview of the land! We start out with a behind the scenes look into Rise of the Resistance the new ride opening in December in Galaxy's Edge. We learn the story the ride follows as well as the different ride systems that the ride will incorporate. After that we take a look at the Disney Parks Play App where you can use your phone like a Data Pad to interact with different aspects of Black Spire Outpost on Batuu. We also headed into Savi's Workshop to build a lightsaber with all custom parts and our very own Kyber Crystal! Then we had a chance to ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run with a special POV camera mounted by Disney as part of the media day. Then we ended out the video with the dedication ceremony with appearances by R2-D2, BB-8, Chewie, Rey, Hondo, and some Storm Troopers. @ How many people on here have a birthday in December? Mine is 2 days after the Rise of the Resistance opens up in Disney's Hollywood Studios. I have been thinking about getting one of those Disney Gift Cards and put maybe 25 to 30 dollars a month on it till I get to the maxium amount that is allowed on the card.

@ My Mom's birthday is December 17th. I also got two cousins. One is Dec 5th. The other one is December 24th. I would love to go there on my birthday. Only problem all the water rides like Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids are usually closed for refurbishment.

I got teary eyed watching as I thought of how much my nephews (and nieces) would love to have all the Star Wars experiences in Batu. Who am I kidding? My entire family would LOVE this land! Brings back memories of seeing the movies as a kid with my parents. Return of the Jedi at the special midnight showing was a special treat. Many movies, countless viewings and endless discussions later... Yeah, the force is strong in this family. Three generations and counting! @@iamontda The wreckage was originally for the wrecked Probe Droid hanging around the corner. this fits with the imprint and round frames still present. Somewhere in the first weeks someone at Disney changed it to "R3X's wreckage", but that wouldn't make sense, since that crash is in no way from a Star Speeder 3000 (R3X was bolted down in those)

Great video!!! R2 units have domes like R2 D2, R3 have clear domes, R4 is a tall cone shape, instead of a dome, and the R5 has of a short cylinder shape!!! A slicer is the term for hacker in the Star Wars world!!! You chose the lightsaber style I want, but I want the Rancor tooth for the bottom!! Thanks for sharing!!!

R2 was the standard version astromech that was a severe improvement of the failure of the R1 R3 was the combat military version of the R2. R4 was suppose to be the great upgrade bit they were plagued with design problems and motivator issues. R5 made better co pilots for ships. R6 were the best improvement. They are very expensive in the Star Wars universe. But are well worth it because they were created towards the end of the rebellion war. R7 were exclusively created to fly E-wings for the Rebellion. They can only fly those ships. Can you tell we love Star Wars in this house hold? 😁

MF does not have Fastpass while FOP does. That makes the standby line shorter. Normally They allow 80% FP riders vs 20% standby so that backs the line up.
