I love hearing him talk about his scores. He’s always so excited to share this cool thing he’s done or a neat trick he’s using, not in a braggadocios way at all, just out of his love for music.
Bear is probably my most respected person working in music right now, there might be artists I like more personally but this man's portfolio is just ridiculous
Been a fan since Black Sails and I adore the ROP soundtrack. I'm excited we're getting several more seasons' worth of Bear's music, can't wait to hear how the themes develop as the story moves on!

Do not be alarmed, but an invisible man changed the guitars in the background halfway through!! Also I love your videos. So much passion, so much musical goodness thank you!! :)
I'm so sorry Bear composed for this awful show. I once decided to watch Battlestar Galactica just because he had done the soundtrack for it. He is everything.
Bear is great, but no one can truly capture the sheer psychopathic sadism and girl-boss-ness of Galadriel. I don't know if you've heard, but there's apparently a tempest inside of her.
You know Bear publicly talked about his annoyance at people posting your type of backhanded compliments, right? He clearly loves being part of this show so just let him work without trying to bring him down for internet points.
@@Canbykarma You know this is the internet, right? I love Bear's music. The show is absolute garbage and everyone knows it. And if you think you're going to police the internet, good luck buddy.
“I’ve failed enough of late, old friend. Help me succeed this time?” She says this to Elrond with tears in her eyes. You either have a low IQ, are parroting what you heard someone else say (most likely) or don’t know what “girl boss” means.
His music makes a bad show seem better than it actually is. I think a lot of people would agree that this theme really adheres to how Second Age would feel, Elves are there but they are out of place, and out of time, a bit tragic but light's still hanging on even though Sauron has returned and is pressing down on the free peoples. I absolutely love this and will listen to it when rereading the Silmarillion. Great job as always
