Join my wife and I as we sail the beautiful Galapagos Islands aboard the Celebrity Flora. A ship designed specifically to cruise the Galapagos. We sailed the outer loop from July 3, 2022 until July 10, 2022. This video follows our complete trip from boarding our plane at Miami International airport, arriving at the Quito airport spending two nights in Quito, then flying to Baltra to board the Flora. @@shepard9341 I understand the work involved completely. I use to video sporting events for my children then put together a highlight film for the end of season awards dinner. They took me at least 80 hours of editing. You do a really great job in narrating, editing and adding good music. After watching your video I told my wife we need to go on the Flora.

Great video, thank you. My wife and I are booked on the Flora for January 15,2023 with another 2 weeks in the Amazon and Machu Picchu. Your video gave us a great synopsis of what to expect. Nice job..I may have to go buy a go pro now!😀 Thanks again!

Hi Ed. Thanks for the nice compliment although I wish it was as easy as just buying a GoPro. I've come a long way since my early videos. it's been a lot of studying about composition and lighting and getting good with my video editing software. By the way I only used the GoPro in the underwater scenes all else was shot with my wife's IPhone11. Enjoy your trip! We loved it. Trying a river cruise in Amsterdam in May. Can't wait!

Great video. We are going May 2023. What type of cameras did you use and bring along?

Hi Jeff. Glad you enjoyed. I used two cameras (iPhone 11 & GoPro Hero 10) with a combination of HD and 4K all at 24 FPS. Obviously all of the underwater shots were shot with my GoPro using a selfie stick so I could get that gliding motion. I processed the final product using Davinci Resolve and rendered it in HD as 4K is a nightmare to work with. Let me know if I could answer anything else.
