The Galapagos in Ecuador is one big animal paradise. Nowhere in the world can you see wild animals so easily in their natural environment. We start on the island of Baltra and travel to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz. There we visit the Charles Darwin Research Center, named after the explorer and naturalist who based the Theory of Evolution on the animals of the Galapagos Islands. We also visit Tortuga Bay and Las Grietas, highlights with many more animals. Throughout the island we see land iguanas, marine iguanas, sea lions, giant tortoises, pelicans, crabs, tropical fish and birds.
This year we travel all over the world and after Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, The Bahamas, USA and Mexico, Galapagos is already our twelfth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in Ecuador, then Brazil and then to many more beautiful destinations! We also cross to Asia, Oceania and Africa! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything. Also take a look at instagram @woutoftheworld or www.woutoftheworld.nl

Wow . What a beauty to gaze upon . This video is perfect it has helped me see and understand the speciation of species. I hear of these famous islands at least I've a glimpse of how they look like. Whoa geography is beautiful, travelling is beautiful. I wanna visit these islands one day in future. Currently studying in university these islands are areas of unique speciation that my biogeography has focused on. Beautiful nature. The video is wow, the sound track itself takes me to world of fantasy. keep it up.

I love the swimming marine Iguana! That's my main goal to see during my Galapagos trip! :D However, I can't seem to find much info. Did they often swim at tortuga bay? Did you manage to snorkel with them somewhere else? Another place where I read you can sometimes see them is Las Tintoreras in Isabella Island. Hope you can help :)
@WoutoftheWorld
@WoutoftheWorld Год назад
Hi Thomas! There is a spot at Tortuga Bay where they walk to the water all the time and take a swim. It’s at the end of the beach entirely on the right when you come off the main path. We have not seen them anywhere else than here. On Isabela are even more, but we didn’t see them swimming.

Hey! Thanks for the great advices, I am getting to the Galapagos tomorrow (on a budget)! Do you have to pay an entrance fee to las grietas? Besides Thank you so much for the video, will use all these great informations for the coming days :)

Hi Pablo, thanks for the compliment! Yes you pay something, but a small fee for a guide that takes you there. I think around 10 bucks something like that. Hope you have a great time there. Galapagos is truly something different, you'll see it's hard to leave at the end 😆🤙🏻
