Can't understand why people think they can be saved by Jewish law when Jesus Christ freed us from that bondage. I can tell the difference between sin and righteousness and the Holy Spirit leads me in the light without the need for law which only shows how sinful we are. Thank God for the freedom in Jesus Christ!
We still most uphold the Law. Jesus does not replace the Law, he came to fulfill it. Not one jot or tiddle shall pass from the Law until all be done. Nowhere does it say one does not have to uphold the Torot. What is sin ? Breaking the Law. Not just the 10 commandments. But the entire Torah. This is what i have been convicted in from the Holy Set Apart Spirit.
It is impossible to uphold the law fully as a man. That's why Christ came. To fulfill the law on our behalf, and to die in our place so that his righteousness may be imparted onto us. By our belief in him, he can sanctify us and cleanse us of our sinful ways, so that we may walk with him in faith and love. I'm guilty of this as well, and it's brought me no peace. Only constant fear of death and hell. As I'm writing this going through the motions of this and realizing my faults, in essence ive been saying his grace is not enough, and that I have to do works to prove to myself that I'm saved. Not looking to the cross for the evidence of my salvation. His grace and his grace alone is what saves us, and his grace is what leads us in the path of righteousness. Romans 6:14. Nkjv 14For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Psalms 23:3 nkjv 3He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
