U r right on the point, I have asked myself this many times,I am a new creature,born again, BUT now that GODs Holy Spirit resides in me,I must Constantly ask for forgiveness for my sins cause I no longer have control over my life,and I thank God the father for his tender ,grace, mercy, for me,other wise I would not exist.

Thank you for uploading your series to RU-vid. I'm a long time Christian, first time viewer. But I find myself desiring to know more about my faith - about the people who helped grow the church and speak through the holy spirit. It's quite interesting just learning about what people went through to educate the public about what Christ did for them as well as the great lengths people went to protect the gospel. It's also opened my eyes just to what the cross truly says about restitution for our sins and makes me realise that repenting is enough. Anyway, I look forward to learning more about Galatians and have hit that subscribe button (In case you were wondering). Very well deserved! =)

Paul along with the other 'apostles' disobey the Words of their Master Jesus who told them that "Whoever is not against you is for you," "I have other sheep," when Paul says in Galatians 1 that "if anyone preaches a gospel different than what 'we' preached to you," 'let him be accursed.'

I believe that the “other sheep” Jesus was referring to were the Gentiles to whom Paul was sent with the gospel. No disobedience there. - MM

Maybe; but if Paul was sent to them they didn't have the Gospel? And Paul as a Jew was rebuking Gentile teachers of the gospel like the disciples? I'd still want to get the other side of the story from Greek opponents of Paul/John like Demas and Diotrephes who as far as I know did not commit and crimes or violations of God's law like Paul/Peter did.

God is not a religion, neither should men be associated to religious beliefs. The first men were not smart enough to develop religions, they were taught this by those fallen angels. Religious beliefs didn't just come from man, it was a deception of the fallen angels to lead us all out of God's presence.

I can enjoy the history he gives of Galatians, but the power of Christ came and we can live a perfect life through Jesus and it is the Holy Spirit that gives us the power. Plz, Christians you should be attractive to a clean and Holy life. He is so confusing, until people feel they can't live a life free from sin. Your love for Christ and the power that lives within... will enable you..."Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy..." (Jude 1:24). Also the Word tells us to, "Be ye perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect... Plz don't listen to a preach that tells you, you will sin...Sin separates us from His Holiness... Yes, I stay before God with my weakness (all weakness or not sin, but some may lead to sin) that could overthrow me, but I look to go from Faith to Faith and from Glory to Glory, DAILY. I am not burden because of my flesh that loves to take over... I continue to stay in the presents of God to enable me to hold on and be steadfast and unmovable... Once you are totally Sold-Out, you will understand the Christian Culture. You live to live to Glorify the Almighty!!!....therefore, you set your affections on things above. My pray is that this preacher will see the light...

Glad that you are experiencing a high degree of spiritual living remaining close to the Lord and His Word. Unfortunately your experience is not universal among Christians, many of whom struggle mightily each day to remain faithful and fruitful. In both Romans 7 and 1 Timothy 1 Paul speaks of his personal struggle with the flesh, and this from an inspired Apostle! There is a reason that much of the New Testament consists of exhortation and encouragement towards Christians who have to deal with the reality of sin in their lives or warnings against the schemes of the devil. So if you are at a high place, rejoice and give thanks, but remember Paul’s admonition in 1 Corinthians 10:12 where he warns, “..let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall..” - MM

hi. i have question. lets say i dont repent of anything. i continue in my sins after believing that jesuspaid the price for my sin. what does this say about my faith. you know that many beleiver do this???they believe yet they continue in there sins. in fact many get worse. i see many examples of this arou d me. to the lost these people bring confusion. my opinion of this is that this behavior is destroying the church in ameruca. christian are know calli g the bible the works of men. and that the book is evil. so they dont read the bible or go to church. these people they just follow jesus and listen to the holy spirit. if you are on facebook yhere are 1000s of folk that declare that they are non religious , dont read and trust the word or go to church. its insane. ive been dragged down by these people. but im standing on the word of God. repentance???? is it necessary to do this yo b be saved??? does unrepentance demo strate a lack of faith???i dont know. can you help me with this??? thank you, lenny

Thanks for your interest in BibleTalk. As to your question, Jesus is very clear about the type of religious hypocrisy that you talk about in your message. Check out Matthew 7:21-23 and you will see that the Lord will punish those who just pay lip service to His words and instructions. We don't have to worry about figuring out who is sincere and who is not...He will be able to sort through all of that when the time comes. Our job is to be faithful and do our best in following His teachings. A good strategy is to focus less on other peoples' sincerity and judgement (since God has promised He will judge everyone fairly) and concentrate more on our own service to the Lord and His people. hey mike thank you for that. i was saved in 1982 at iowa state. i think along the way over years i got off track with the idea of grace.ive been going to a pentecostal church. it really messed me up. i dont speak in tongues!!!. this bible study has really helped. im going over it for the 3rd time. thank you for your reply to my question. that straightens up alot.

I always felt that GOD KNOWS our hearts- You truly believe in Christ and what he has done for you- would you WANT TO SIN? I always thought the purpose comes with TRUST and obedience! The Gospel is supposed to change us! Gives us clarity- And its in THAT journey that Satan through the flesh will cause us to stumble- JESUS picks us up because of his sacrifice allows him to.

Lenny, what you need to understand is that God hates sin! Jesus died so to redeem us from sin! Once we have been redeemed according to St. John 15 it is up to God to cleans us! That what the Holy Spirit does it will lead us in to all truth, and bring the ( truth) and show us things to come! When a person keeps sinning without repentance than there is no more salvation for that person until they repent, and be lead by Holy Spirit . We must walk in the Spirit and not be lead by the flesh or our desires anything that doesnt bring glory to God! Read Galatians chapter 1, 1John 1:1-10 always know that we have a mediator the Lord Jesus Christ that intercession on our behave so we live for Jesus and not ourselves we have been brought,and paid for by Jesus Christ and now we are free from sin!! But that doesnt mean we can do what we want we have to keep his word in our hearts,and minds!!

And your rejection of God and profession of disbelief, is that not something someone else has led you to as well? Have you considered the evidence for and against? Make a careful study of the arguments on both sides before your decide for yourself and make claims about other people. - MM

At 34:53 this guy says clapping hands is not a biblical way he says it's seclar, read the command of the Psalmist in the 47th Psalms verse 1; "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph." (Psalm 47 KJV} Maybe he should let someone who is mature in the Word give the lesson instead of reading someone else's work or at least prove the message and additional declarations. If you use the OldTestament as your guide for how we are to worship in the New Testament period what is to stop people from demanding that we use incense or animal sacrifice? I note that all your references are from the Old Testament and if we were still under that dispensation your point would be valid, however, the New Testament guides our Christian lives now and that includes what we do and not do in public worship to God. - MM

Back when? The fiirst churches started with the Apostles after Peter's sermon at the Pentecost when 3,000 were saved and Baptized... So yes the first churches were very early but after Jesus Ascended to Heaven.
