I decided I would check it out but it confused me since they said they are the true church. Then I found out what the teach and it bothered me and confused me. I'm going to try and get my atheist wife to email you. She thinks this is all a big fairy tale story. I used to think the bible must have had parts that have been translated through man's ideas. Once I accepted the Bible as the infallible living word of God, I became transformed completely.
Dr Nathaniel Jeanson, associated with 'Answers in Genesis' who wrote 'Traced' says that nobody today can trace their DNA back to Abraham. No person today can trace their lineage back to Abraham. But everyone living today can trace it back to Noah's 3 sons.
That's right! Excellent point! Because no one knows what Abraham's specific DNA was, but we can all be traced back to one of the three lineages that bottleneck around 4500 years ago at the flood. I loved the book TRACED, it was excellent research! However, if you are of the lineage of Shem, the chances that you are in the lineage of Abraham is very high.

I think Dr Tour is refreshing to hear. I’m afraid that people treat the details of the Jewish Torah with the commandments of Gods law. Because until heaven and earth passes not one yota of the law will pass. So no we are not supposed to disregard the law. But it’s not thru obeying that we are reconciled. We obey BECAUSE WE ARE RECONCILED The law of Moses and the moral commandments receive different treatment If God declared animals filthy and you eat them totally out of ignorance you may not be disobeying but if you want to know how to follow Jesus you will want to gind how to walk by taking care of your temple. Not to be saved but because you want to conform to the will of God

We are JUSTIFIED by Faith. How did Abraham and David get salvation? They were Justified by their Faith. When we are JUSTIFIED we are freed from the penalty of sin, our passport is stamped, and we are declared innocent! But, we haven't changed yet. SANCTIFICATION separates us from the POWER of sin and is a moment by moment choice. Jesus didn't die to make bad men good _ He died to make dead men live ‼️

Not to abolish the Law, he repeats this twice for emphasize... He then goes on to repeat it a third time in the most excruciating detail, yet many people will still insist that fulfill in this context means to abolish... "...For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished..." Matthew 5:18 Have heaven and earth disappeared yet? I think not... So the Law stands unchanged according to Jesus Christ own words... U really have to do some extreme mental gymnastics to interpret this verse any other way... New Covenant... Same Law... This concept is still in perfect harmony with being saved by repentance/grace/faith... Have a blessed day🙂
@@lawrence1318 Romans 7 details 2 separate issues... u have the punishment for the Law which is death, that we have been released from by the blood of Christ... but then u have the Law of God which defines what sin is, which hasn't changed... New covenant... same Law... Paul goes on to say... "...So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good...." Rom 7:12 Why would u need to abolish something that is holy and good? "...For in my inner being I delight in God’s law..." Rom 7:22 Why does Paul delight in Gods Law if it has been abolished? Perhaps an interpretation of Romans and the rest of Bible should be properly understood in a way that is consistent with what Jesus spoke rather than modern day man made doctrines that presume to abolish Gods Law? So what would be your interpretation of Matthew 5:18? Why did Jesus say that the Law will not disappear until heaven and earth disappear if it were not true?
@@peterli7120 Again, you are necessarily wrong because the Christian is "dead to the law". So you need to submit the verses you quote to that, and interpret them in the light of that. (You need to make them fit that fact, not the other way around.)
@@lawrence1318 What Jesus spoke is the authority which must be considered first not the other way around... We are followers of Jesus not followers of Paul... Starting at romans and reading backwards to "make it fit" as u say, is why u end up with backwards doctrine...
