Simple,easy phone and cheap.. as long as I can make calls,send sms and emails and watch a bit of RU-vid I don’t care for anything else..I have just bought one.
The screen is insane on this phone, this is my first time experiencing super amoled display. I always had ips lcd but the blacks and whites are breathtaking. The camera is far better than the ones I had and the phones feel fast to me. I have no issues. I also got it almost 50% off brand new.

The normal price in my country(South Africa) for this phone is 224 dollar but got mine this week for 163 dollars. The price was almost 50% off. I got a gel cover for the phone for 3 dollars and those gel cases never breaks even when bending it.
Agreed. Though the bass is average, you can hear it slightly at around 50-75% volume, It's good enough but not the best of all for the segment. But the clearness and loudness, for the price this is very good. It does what it needs and Samsung had always been ahead of the game in speakers, even if they're not a JBL or AKG or even HarmanKardon like the other brands. Also at 100% volume this phone acts like an actual speaker 😂 Just lacked stereo or dynamic sounds. Sad It's only a mono
In india we have 4/6 and 8 gb ram version and also it has 128/256 gb rom version and with one more colour varient of "LIGHT BLUE" colour maybe this all are not available in your country but in india it does... I have Samsung galaxy A15 5g,8/128 version in light blue colour and it looks stunning,it looks beautiful in the end i love my phone😘❤️😊
This is a good review! Thanks! One thing I like especially is the idea of applying certain edits to multiple photos at once. My thing is often b&w viewing, with certain other edits to make a picture look (older), sometimes make it look like it's been in a box for ages and got exposed to at least some of the elements. Like, I'm a fan of taking shots and turning them to bw in post-edit. But it's a slow process, because I'm not looking to just take a color pic and turn down the saturation. I don't think it would fool anybody. They'd know it was originally in color, I know I would. I like to take down the brightness, remove some sharpness, reduce the black element, and the white, change shadowing to make the photo look a little dusty, get it just so. If I could apply all that drudgery to multiple photos in one go, I'd be pretty happy. I also like photos of hollywood actresses from the so called 'golden age' of movies, 30s-50s. And if I find something and get it a certain way, i'd often want to apply that to other pics I find as I go. I've used some apps that were supposed to do some of this, but they weren't what I wanted. Sorry for the long post.
Great budget phone that you can get your hands on and still have everything you want. Got mine for $28 out the door for switching carriers to t mobile. I always switch phone carriers whenever my phone breaks to snag a free phone out the door.
If you judge a phone according to how fast it opens a game app' or some social media thing, within a few hundred milliseconds, then the issue isn't in the phone. The problem is in the head unit.

Thank you dir this very detailed review. I am thinking of getting the exact same model. Here in our country, we also have a version that has 8gm ram and 256gb storage. And this is where my dilemma is. Will ram matter when gaming? Let's say i always close all apps in the background before playing. Will games run more smoothly on an 8gm ram version than 4gb version?
More ram is better for gaming, you can stretch its legs because you have more ram. The chip in it is really good for the price and the extra ram makes a big difference in gaming.
Just bought the 5G version and looking thru RU-vid videos all but one, including yours, missed, for me, the most important criteria which is connecting Internet to my PC and laptop which it does and its FAST. Sorry, but its not "the complete review" but does cover everything else though.
If you carry this phone in pocket jeans etc do not buy it the accidental touch screen does not work at all I have accidentally phoned the emergency services number. Once let's just say I'm very pxssed. 🇬🇧
I got one yesterday in the mail it Did not come with Any USB cable no charger just the phone when I called and asked Why they said I have to order the extras THAT SUCKS Where can I get the parts I need the company I got the phone from has no idea so what do I need to do 😡😞😠
Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to view photos in the default gallery in 2 rows instead of a 3 row grid, the way that you could in previous phones? On my old phone you would be able to see each picture fully with 2 columns of varying height and width, depending on the picture sizes. On the a15 the gallery seems to only allow for 3 columns minimum. Please let me know if there's a solution or if the functionality just got straight up downgraded, thank you :/
@@isabelsantos1357I have the 5G but I think battery is good but not very optimized like other 5k mAh phones may last longer than this but it still lasts a good time. Other things said by the above commenter are false imo maybe it's just them who is facing it
This is awesome, thanks for doing this. JUST got one of these, after having an AO3s for about 4 years. LOVED that phone! But, as with many Samsung devices, the battery began to bloat, so rather than pay for a new batters AND then probably soon after, another new phone, I just bit the bullet and got the A15. The phone is ever so slightly smaller than the A03s, so naturally, I couldn't use the case I had used on my old phone. 🙄 Thanks to the great tech at my local Best Buy, and Samsung's "Smart Switch" app, the data transfer was extremely smooth and was about 99% intact - all my photos, settings, apps - were all transferred over without a hitch, though there were some very small tweaks I had to reset. FYI, if you have "power save" set on your phone, you cannot set the Motion Smoothness to "high," for obv. reasons, and of course really won't affect the usage.
@kibs26 Awesome phone, considering I was on a tight budget. 90Hz refresh rate is superb! The camera is decent. I'm a big fan of PUBG, and well, what can I say, I'm impressed. One of the best budget phones in the market.
Okay so i have an a15 there is a problem with mine the screen wont work some of the time i will have to struggle to restart it ........(edit) since 6.1 software update this doesnt happen
I ordered one before seeing this video - it was running cheap on Amazon at only 123 Euros... I know NOTHING about phones, so its sat on my desk in front of me until I can get to to a Tech nerd or a 14 year old to set it up for me... And I say Tech Nerd with respect, not disdain. Once its up and running I'll be using this review to make the most of it... thanks.
