For the part you didnt see you just have to get a clean dry brush and blend the colors by using strokes

Sorry for the cut between the minute 1:47 and 1:48 my camera battery ran out! There's no secret, I just added more layers with acrylics, some water and a transparent coating with glitter (the last one is optional). Thank you so much for all the views, I can't believe it!

I was looking for an art tutorial for a galaxy painting for a school project and it just happens that yours is the best! I came out in 4th place in the art contest with it!

Joan Pons Art Nice!! Also, for painting the canvas black, I take a large wet sponge and dip it in black acrylic paint. The paint diffuses on the canvas way more quicker and it takes less paint than with a brush.

Awesome video, but you should try to center your camera so that people can see your whole canvas. And maybe take a second to show the tools you are using

It was so quick but the one tip I found really useful was using the tip of a paintbrush to create the stars by flicking it. I really like your painting!

What did you use to make the stars? The one that you splashes using a brush, is that another paint or an acrylic also?

did you use the exact same brush through all the colors? or did you wash the brush first? Also did you just do many layers for the transition?

Glue and wax paper... I would never have thought of that, seriously! You just gave new life to about seven failed canvases that I have lying around my house! Brilliant and beautiful! I am SO stealing that. ;)

Did you wait entirely till the black paint dried, or half dry to mix the other colours?

I've watched many people paint galaxy paintings and I realized that if you add a bunch of stars to blob of pink, purple, blue and black, you'd find a galaxy painting.

How did you make the 'stars'? Honesty the high speed 'filming' makes it impossible to 'see' just what is happening. Is that a makeup brush you were using? and what did you use in the way of paint for the stars? was that watered down acrylic paint?

I did one fairly similar the other day. It turned out great! I've found myself inspired and intrigued about the Galaxy paintings. I've done a few and love how they turn out, the different color contrasts and how they all lay is amazing! I'm definitely going to make this as one of my main style of paintings. They all turn out beautiful and all look unique.

I just started drawing and getting serious then I moved to painting I can't seem to get my paintings to come out any tricks that you can give me will be very help full I love galaxy type paintings and thats what I want to do, I bought a 12 pac of acrylic neon today.

Somewhere between 1:47 ans 1:50 there is a cut and the canvas looks completely different after that. I would love to know how you achieved that effect?
