It sounds much better now since the previous firmware. Turns out I used an earlier recording, My bad. You can find the current quality of the AirPods microphones here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9fvzBhxE7kc.html It did improve its standing, but the Galaxy Buds3 Pro still noise gates faster and cleaner. So this error did not affect the conclusion.
I'm not sure how is bluetooth working but someone tested them to have a dip at 20hz or below, wonder if this can be the problem they got XD. Still, impressive apple ANC, removing most annoying noises. What I didn't like in those was lack of bass, loudness and codecs... well, maybe xm6 or ult buds will surprise.
One thing i love about samsung products, they give you choices. For example, apple got 2types of earbuds & both got stems. Samsung got 3-5 different types, depends on the store. The phones are the sameway. Phone for almost every price.
My favorite review of the Buds 3 pro. ANC is pretty good almost as good as airpods. I heard the speaker system is planar which is amazing. A solid competitor to the airpods pro 2. I'm getting them for my S24 Ultra. Thank you Aaron.
Hello! I just want to ask about the reception of s24 ultra? I have watched some complaints here in youtube about the dropping of signal. Just a survey because I want to purchase s24ultra
Got mine today. I feel the ANC is lacking compare to my Sony xm4s but that may be because the Sony's have foam eartips. Also prefer the Sony's sound. The Samsung buds definitely have better transparency mode and a much more comfortable fit for my ears. Overall I'm happy and will be keeping them. The Samsung's cost me around $85 which is a good price for these. If I had to pay full price I would just wait for the xm5s to go on sale as these aren't worth $199 or w.e. Samsung is charging imo.
I have an Iphone with airpods 2 pro and the s24 ultra with the Buds 3 pro(i bought yesterday). When i listen the buds 3 pro i didn't like it honestly BUT i found the EQ and changed it to dynamic and omg i love how the bud 3 pro sound amazing! The mid range that i like to ear is persist in this device.
bro did you notice anything being damaged at the buds like one buds is being taller or sone dirts etc cuz I just red on reddit that korea stopped pre ordering I hope mines doesn't have that I'm still waiting
I also have an iPhone 13 Pro Max paired with APP2 as well Recently got an S24 Ultra but I also have the Sennheiser MTW4 Do you think it's still worth getting the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro?
Great review and effort..... I can really appreciate this review... Touches in the important aspects and speed me to experience it before actually having them so I know what to expect
Love Samsung but them Jabras killed everything with the noisy environment. Also... "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dogs" is a sentence with every letter in the alphabet. Good for testing out new pens and keyboards!
Just got them today. I've had buds pro, 2 pro and now the 3 pro. Wow there very nice. I was able to trade in my first gen pro for $100 credit. Yeah 👍 The bass is punchy and an improvement from last gen. The overall impression is much improved. I would not have got them at $250 but for a discount it was worth it...😊
Mine come in the mail on Saturday. I can't wait. I'm going on vacation Tuesday so I'm going to try them on a plane. Hopefully I will not have to use my bigger soundcore headphones
The Mia Niles track sounds cheap on the buds 3 pro as mids are too much elevated. However the hip-hop track sounded one of the best on it. I would throw a Technics AZ80 in this mix though.
I think for $99 bucks (with trade in and $50 credit) they're no brainer. I wouldn't pay a full price for these though. I mean, I've got 3ANC for sound quality and battery life. The Buds3 Pros will be for bells and whistles mostly. ;) I also like how they look. I'm trading in my old Buds Pro. I liked the sound, but the lack of EQ was a big downside. That, and the fit. I had to adjust them constantly, and still didn't get the perfect seal. Tried multiple eartips. They should arrive next week. I'm really curious how I'll like the sound.
I just did the same thing with the same earbuds! 😂 I have the buds, buds pro, buds 2, and buds 2 pro. I kinda wished they offered the same $100 off for trade-in of the buds 2! I've never been able to get they to stay and by ears! They're just soooo glossy/slippery! Oh well! I don't use my older buds anyway. 🤷♂️
Well, just received an email from samsung. They pushed the delivery to end of August. If I paid full price, I would cancel. But with this kind of deal... I'll wait. ;)
I've never had an issue with the Airpod Pro 2 Transparency Mode. That's their shining attribute for me. I can't even tell that I have something in my ears regardless of if it's external sounds or my own voice. I really wish that both Apple and Samsung wouldn't lean so hard into the ecosystem dependence with earbuds.
Thanks for your great review - was already waiting for that. :) In Comparison to the Sennheiser MTW3: Is the bass in dynamic eq or bass boost eq on the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro better? I'm thinking about to buy the Buds 3 Pro, because transparency mode and wind noise reduction on the sennheiser MTW3 is poor, but i also really like the punchy bass on them. If the bass on the buds 3 pro is similar... I ask because i think the review is only done on standard eq settings, not on dynamic/bass boost eq?
I wish the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro or OnePlus Buds 3 would've been included, they sound insane, and I think they would fit your sound preference. At least the Buds 3 would do.
Happy to see they stepped up the ANC, always been a weakness of Galaxy buds, now I may actually give these a try, I do prefer this new design over the old one as well, because that one just kept falling out all the time.
Can u suggest, between samsung buds 3 pro vs sony xm5 I like more bass and treble(v shape sound signature) And crips clear sound Loud sound and 360° audio Phone is samsung s24ultra
For you the best option is the Galaxy buds3 pro, but i Personally prefer the sound in the Sony is more balanced while in the Buds3 pro you get more bass but this isn't always better.
ive bought every iteration of Samsung earbuds . All of them are still functioning well . My Sony , Seinnheiser , LG earbuds bought 3 -4 yrs ago all have gone dead .. Waiting for buds 3 PRO to arrive next week and Im glad the ANC and sound quality are finally better this time . Kudos Samsung
The Jabras blew me away. I had never even considered jabras to be a contender for sounds quality, but this video proved me wrong. Im listening on buds 2 pro, and i think i will get the jabras next. Wow. Nothing else in the video even compared, they all sounded awful in comparison
I am using huawei buds 3 pro now , iam very satisfied and so far the best mic and call quality especially for noisy environtment compare to my soundcore and nothing ear 2
The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro definitely sound much more technically capable to my trained ear. They sound like they transfer more raw audio data making things like texture, separation, depth to be significantly more robust. If you are good with EQ, I can tell these can be endgame.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 pro support Bluetooth Super Wideband for calls. I believe you were not using this feature. This feature is available on latest galaxy Devices. Galaxy Buds 3 pro's microphone sounds much better than this with Bluetooth Super Wideband codec. This is an unfair comparison as you were not utilizing buds 3 pro's microphones full potential..
@@ElPresidentedEscolar Bluetooth Super Wideband is a feature that's included in the latest HFP 1.9 Bluetooth Profile. This feature could be implemented in all brands of smartphones Android and iOS as it is an open source Bluetooth codec. So far, Google Pixel 8, 8 pro and Samsung Galaxy s23, z fold 5, z fold 6 and S24 series have implemented this feature. No apple devices support this feature as of now because they are always lazy in implementing new features. Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 pro's Super Wideband Speech in calls would work on any smartphone as long as they include HFP v 1.9. So it's not only restricted to Samsung Galaxy devices. It's up to Smartphone brands if they want to implement this feature or not..
@@vincentgray3670 I get the idea to keep the HFP up to date but samsung could have also implemented aptx instead which is downwards compatible, couldn't they?
thank you for your review was waiting for it but i expected that you would throw in Nothing Ear since you called it king in mic quality and that what i was hoping for 😢, anyway great review and thank you for your hard work ❤.
In early 2023 I bought the galaxy buds FE and fell in love with how much they fit in my ears with the help of the wingtips, which is ideal for my needs as i run a lot.I'm sure all characteristics will be better on the buds3 pro but, could someone that bought them tell me if they are good for exercising or running in particular?if not, could i maybe later put aftermarket wingtips on them? edit: great and thorough video that for sure will help a lot of people decide if they want to buy these or not!
Hi Aaron is it comfortable to sleep or even just side lying with buds 3 pro.i actually like buds 2 pro cos of that. my ear doesn't hurt even if i use it overnight for its noise cancellation.
Also when issuing vocal commands you don't have to say "volume down" volume down" but you can actually tell bixby a percentage ... so you can say volume down 10% ;) The more you know :)
Great video just what ive been looking for, I've got the bose ultras at the moment and must say noise cancelation is my favourite feature. I've got buds 3 pro on way as got them on a deal and was going to sell bose but ill wait and see as the bose are amazing for blocking out noise on flights and more importantly snoring 😂
I've just bought Jabra Elite 10 gen 2. Sound quality and a good battery are more important to me than ANC. Devialets were too expensive. I work as a software tester so I can't wait to play with my new buds :)
Off Topic. Sony dropped new firmware for wf-1000xm5. It certainly made a difference for me, faster and further Bluetooth range etc. Version 3.3.1. Best Regards Jeremy
I own every pair of those buds! My samsung bud 3 pro's just haven't reached me yet! I do appreciate the review of them all and will definitely make my own comparison. Thank you so very much!
I've never experienced better sound quality on my Samsung device than with the Samsung Buds Pro. I've tried other brands like Bose, Jabra, and Sony, but none compare. However, after buying my Honor Magic V2, I can't find any earbuds that match or surpass the quality of the Samsung ecosystem.
@@Aj-vg7fp As you said, as long as you're in a closesystem like Samsung, Huawei/Honor and Apple, the Galaxy Buds and Airpod Pro are pretty much unbeatable. But, Huawei's Freebuds Pro, OnePlus Buds 3/2 Pro have the advantage of being more open and compatible with other ecosystems.
@@rolins3279 I have many earbuds; Sony, Samsung, oneplus etc. I use android and I still use my Apple Airpods pro 2 over everything else. Transparency mode is the most important to me and nothing else comes close
Could you please consider including the difference in sound between low, mid, and high music samples, as well as instrumental samples? This would enhance the utility of your content. I would appreciate if you could incorporate different bud samples segments into your video.
Aaron, not re-recording the audio test with the same fan, makes the wind noise mic test incompairable and quite frankly, that was a little lazy on your part.
Hi! If you do not have a flagship samsung phone, like folds or flips. I do not think you will have 24-bit rates. It is not supported for all Samsung devices for now. Also the translation is restricted for other samsung devices. How do you think it compares with denon perl pro as sound quality with aptex lossless? Did you notice any hiss, when using buds3 pro without music?
13:50 - if you want buds working with all systems just get zhe Huawei Freebuds Pro 3 or anything but these 2. Honestly, I'm sooo pissed having no multipoint on these.
So, they finally arrived today. I ordered them at launch, quite a delay. However, I'm not complaining. I have plenty of other earbuds, and for serious listening at home, I have the B&O H95. So, I could wait for these until Christmas. In the end, I paid only $99 for them. They are not as secure in my ears as my 3ANC, and the sound quality doesn't reach the level of the Status's. Also, the battery lasts only about half the time the 3ANC's are capable of. I don't regret my purchase; I'll find use for them for sure, but I'm very happy that I didn't pay full price for these. In my opinion, they are not worth the full price tag. Next day update: The battery life SUCKS! After a whole night on charger, (charged to 100% - I checked) after about 15-20 minutes playing youtube videos, the battery dropped to 87%. That's unacceptable. Update 2 - same day: I charged them to 100% and took them to the gym. Fit perfect, I didn't have to adjust them once. But after I returned home after 2 hours, the battery was at 48%. Noise canceling on, volume about 60%. This borders with unusable. In 2024? For $250 bucks? C'mon!
As someone who owns both the Jabra Elite 10 and Jabra Elite 8 Active, unfortunately the covering of the chartering case snapped so I had to return them and now I contemplating whether or not I should add more money to get the Jabra Elite 10 Gen 2 or the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro especially give n the fact I own a Galaxy A53 but the Gen 2 Elite 10 seems to be on par with Galaxy 3 Pro and I feel like I have to completey change my perspectives and knowledge because of the new range of earbuds released by these two stellar companies when it comes to audio technology because both as of right now have taken audio tech game by storm, truly. The changes and improvements that have been made are truly next level in many ways and sensational, especially given that Jabra is no longer producing earbuds. The Jabra's are one of the first audio tech companies to really revolutionise audio technology on so many levels.
I got an email today saying my preorder for the buds 3 pro had been delayed by a few weeks because of a 'quality control issue'. Has anyone else got this email? It was sent a few hours before they were about to be delivered and we're already dispatched
@aaronloudnwireless the apparent issue is because of discolouration in the buds and batches have issues with the blade lights either not working or having mismatched hues and ear tips ripping when you take them off
Not sure if I'll get the Buds 3 Pro. Mainly because Samsung are the only earbuds to cause me to get irritation in my ears from wax build up. My Tozo, JBL and Panasonic earbuds don't do this even when worn for hours on end over several days during work.
19 languages?! That's outstanding! Thanks for this comparison video. Interesting findings! I wish Samsung had stuck to a stemless design but added wing tips like the fe & older versions. They just look about out there for this old girl 😊
Samsung have pulled them from sale (the Pro model). I was due to get mine today (pre order). Got an email last night saying because of quality issued, theu would not ship. All site selling them have withdrawn sales
I have the Buds Pro and the Buds Pro 2, I particularly like how the sound is denser and the bass is more present on the Buds Pro, however for those who like classical music or songs rich in vocals the Buds Pro 2 is the best option . I really want to have the Buds Pro 3 to see if it comes close to the absurd sound that the Buds Pro provides
Unlike the others previous ones, the buds 3 pro should work with EQ, and it's a hybrid with dynamic in woofer and planar tweeter. I'm not sure though if it sound like the pro or buds 2 pro or better
