I love the fact that they put the “behind scenes” so that when we fail the food ourselves we know that the chefs themselves had had to go through many attempts to succeed
i’m a baking student at the Culinary Institute of America and i’ve used glazes a lot so here are some tips for anyone who wants to do this: 1. gelatin sheets should be placed into ice water one by one and let to bloom for 8 minutes, you can take it out and squeeze on the water and they can sit on the table while you heat up your liquids instead of the other way around. 2. the cake should be completely frozen, and you should probably freeze it overnight, that way the buttercream won’t melt off like you saw in the video 3. pour over the outside edge first and then go in towards the middle 4. if you miss a spot, if you go over it you will have drips down your cake 5. if you’re trying to scrape the top, use an offset spatula long enough to cover the entire cake and put it so you’re pulling it towards you, not side to side. you have way more control that way and can use both hands to keep it steady hope this helps!!
I think these behind the scene videos are great! They really “humanify” Tasty and show us watchers that each video is made by someone who puts effort into it and that people should be more mindful when making hateful comments because there are people behind the scenes who worked really hard on the video/recipes/etc.
+CindyIsChillen Agree with ya, Cindy. -Not going to lie, but people complain so much in the comment sections when they haven't even made it themselves!-
“It doesn’t look like galaxy” - Rie “HAVE YOU BEEN TO SPACE RIE?! DIDN’T THINK SO!!” - Alix “HAVE YOU?!” - Rie “Not yet...” - Alix That was the best part of the video 😂😂😂
Madison Theriault like everyone is on a diet just because they want to be' thin and beautiful '. Shes obese . That increases risks of developing type2diabetes . Health reasons obviously
Reggie Shmeggie she’s not obese. She’s heavier than average, but there is a massive difference between obesity and being a little overweight. It could also just be her body type, you don’t know the circumstances
I love watching behind tasty because the videos are just so effortlessly flawless, but here, you get to see the real shit that goes on in real life, making it so much more relatable ❤️❤️ please make more of these!
Omg tasty please make more videos with this girl Alix!!! She is great in front of the camera. A natural, she keeps you entertained and pulls you into what she’s doing! Love her!!!
simpleplanfan011 I’m not saying she has an eating disorder but I understand why she wouldn’t take a bite because it can be hard to stop. Once you’ve taken one bite it quickly goes to 10 bites and because she’s on a diet she obviously didn’t want that. I’m just using logic.
I thjink the best kind of cooking videos are the ones where the person in the video is still learning this stuff, just like the rest of us. "Have you been to space Ria? No, I didn't think so."
