Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 Problems | Heat & Battery Issues | This Is Bad !!! 

Software sabotage is real... Apple got busted for slowing down CPU's, Android developers probably avoid that and overclock the CPU and GPU to burn out the battery.

Same problem for me, heating up and battery drain juste after updating to One UI 2.1 on Galaxy Note9. Two updates later nothing changed, I am asking myself if it is sabotage, lets see if more updates will resolve it.

Galaxy Note 9 has been my favorite phone of all time. I pray Samsung fixes these issues. Thanks for addressing this.

Main problem im having on my note 9 is that I'm not receiving text messages. I'll get them on my One Plus and not on my Note 9. Is anyone else having this issue? It's very annoying and prevents me from using the note.

UI 2.5 overheating still exist, android 10. WiFi connection battery is good and no overheating problem but in mobile data overheating is a problem and the battery drains fast

After an update in last week, my note 9 is overheating every time i operate in a few minute and battery drain so fast....should i make a battery replacement?

Sometimes updates do more harm than good. That's why I never worry about having the latest version of android. All versions since 7.0 are still perfectly usable today. I even have an old LG tablet on android 5 and that one still works fine.

I have no heat or battery problems, but I have disabled all AR related apps and all other apps I don't use. Geekbench single core 676 and multi 2070. Tech manufucturers are always adding new features which most people don't even need, because they need to sell new stuff to get high profit for investors.

Looks like planned obsolescence in software form, the heat in the cpu would be the reason for the battery drain.

I have 20+ smartphones going back ten years. Some I intentionally don't update. My general observations are that other than dark mode, and SOME camera software, updates add more risk than benefits. Almost all new application versions are bloated compared to original, and many take away features, fonts, etc in an attempt to get you to pay for a better version. Hope Samsung hasn't done what Apple got convicted for, reducing battery life for existing customers to sell new phones. Peace

The CPU frequency fluctuates a lot in the left Note 9 (One UI2.1) and with high frequencies 2.2 ghz., also the ram is being used too much for no apolications in the background. That is so weird and the reason of the high temperature and the battery consumption. I follow a youtuber who so far has not reported any problems in his Note 9 exynos. It may only be a snapdragon problem for now. Holy Crist the drop in performance it present in the multicore 1622/2176😲.

Looks as though there is some processing going on in the back ground,2.1 did add alot of features,using developer options may be causing some issues,turning this off for a while over night...soft reset,check oneui home at galaxy store for update,,find oneui home in apps clear cache,data,force stop.will reset home.galaxy labs at galaxy store cool tool..clear cache partition may improve too...

I just got my Note 9 512 gb 8 GB ram international version with Android 10 2.5 UI and I'm pleasantly surprised I have no issues with heat at high usage for 3 hrs straight and great battery life 😁 by the way love your videos 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Waw.. so is that means better to stay our Note 9 on android 8.1 than updating them? Many people just bought G Note 9 recently bcoz of its Big Sale Price. Make it more affordable for us.. almost 50% discount than first time its released price. The latest version of 8.1 was december 2018 updates.

I do light usage, and since an update in march, it'll overheat and shut off. And I mean light usage.

unfortunately note 9 isn't going to get major software updates any more. just security updates for two more years. problem with Samsung is it;s launcher is getting bloated after each update with many apps running at the background so the phone runs slower and heating up. also you can't downgrade even by rooting your device .you are going to have problems with KNOX :-( buying another phone from that brand is hard to justify with all that issues

Ive had my Note 9 from new and all of a sudden im now getting slight heating issues, phone wont keep its charge and my Cameras stopped booting with an "Camera Failed" error message.

This is why I dont update my phone 👍 Ever since apple did me extremely dirty on updates with throttle and battery problems, I am paranoid witg any brand. And its workers out great. No issues at all.

Past couple of months I'm experiencing this issue on exynos. My battery is now weak according to samsung diagnostic tool in samsung members app.

Im on One UI 2.5 now and my Note 9 can't even last for 4 hours of screen on time from full charge. It used to last at least 7 hours before this update. Should I factory reset my phone?

If you have these problems use a mini desk fan near your phone to always keep it cool, I know Samsung is Pissing me off lately, especially with the exynos 990 chip on the note 20 series, why can't there be both option
