This one is great. That was Synth Heaven!

Most of my age mates saw this movie. Not that many know its history. The movie was bought from the maker and dubbed within a few days in Soviet Union for a pledge between a top KGB officer and a top state official. Siblings of that KGB officer liked the movie at a closed event, while the official told that normal Soviet kids would never watch this shit. KGB officer won the pledge. The movie had an overwhelming success among the Soviet kids. Most of my friends went to see it many times, up to 10 or 14 at times. This madness finished only when both film copies became physically worn out and unusable. I myself saw it only once, but it was the premiere. I still remember the touch of magic.. Me and my father were among the very first regular Soviet people who were watching the movie besides officials. Many people still disbelieve that we all were living in the same world back then in 1984. In Eindhoven 2001 my colleagues questioned that we were culturally same. So to make some fun they printed out a Falcor's picture and offered to me 'for a recognition' like cops. I responded with singing out this memorable tune. Even though most the Dutch student were younger than us, they remembered the melody. It was so touchy, that for a few weeks we were even greeting each other singing out this melody to show how we were close. Noticeably, none of my Belarusian colleagues was responsive to the melody or movie characters. You guess the reason. They did not grow up in Minsk. I mean, those times are gone. You will have to cope with a bit different KGB officers now.

must've seen the movie at least 20 times as a kid, they just did everything right, some funny moments, some heartfelt moments and for the time, amazing special effects. top it off with wonderful music and you have written history.
