tried this earlier, didn’t work, then after a few hours of searching in google, saw a post that says (due to the update in one ui) you need to connect your phone to computer via usb cord first then do this while your phone is connected to pc, tried that and it worked

It freakin worked! No one was able to help me and when I was trying this method I'd only get the download OS screen. But I just kept trying and and I finally got the timing right! Thank you. I managed to get it on the 1st attempt, I'd watched other videos also on how to unlock my phone as I forgot the pattern. Other videos never mentioned anything about holding down the Bixby button, it was only until I came across your video and you mentioned to hold down the top volume, Bixby and the power button and then finally it worked for me and I successfully unlocked my phone. THANK YOU! I was trying to factory reset my Galaxy S8 and it wouldn't accept my password. It wouldn't let me verify thru email either. Following this WORKED!!! Even down to the timing to get into the boot screen. Thank you again!!
Thanks for the video. I did have an issue when it booted into the setup area, it showed the message "user press reset keys for 7 sec" but that would just restart the phone, and there was no way to get go down to the reset (volume up/down didn't do anything). I ended up letting the phone die completely, then charging it a bit and starting with the buttons to get to the setup area, and that worked.

Hi, I tried lot of other things suggested by other blogs/videos but failed to reset my samsung galaxy s10. Finally landed here! Thanks for sharing this tutorial:) After I switch to vol up+bixby+power buttons, instead of getting the recovery mode screen like you showed, i get the SS RDX sceen (User press reset keys for 7 sec). Do you have any suggestions on where I can from there?

I left my S10e to my step daughter, but after putting an unlock patern and rebooting it, we were unable to access it, the system didn't allow us to connect more than one point in the pattern. With this, we were able to access it and finally use it again. Luckily, we had just made a factory reset the day before, so nothing was really lost! It took me about three tries, thank you!

After android 11 update, it is required to connect phone to computer too (or just anything that is not charger, in my case usb c pendrive worked fine).
Thanks for this. My screen got smashed but the top 3rd works. As i've got a replacement coming they take my phone away as a swap so they can refurb it. Samsung has changed the proccess tô enter on Recovery Mode. Now, u need to connect the phone on a PC before press the 3 buttons. I did it right now on my S10e and all work great!
Big help pal! couldn't figure out how to get to boot loader while it was pin locked! Doesn't stop customers leaving google accounts on the phone however, lots of wastage, thank god for the MDM solution we have now.
