"I don't like Samsung gestures so I won't show them" ... at least show us and tell us why you don't like them or what they can improve about it instead of just throwing it away with no constructive criticism.
@VMP best Weapon in COD History Apple neither makes nor assembles the iPhone you use for your daily business needs. An iPhone has parts that come from several manufacturers, one of which is Samsung, a maker of integrated circuits as well as computer parts, televisions and other consumer electronics -- and a competitor in the smartphone market. Samsung has the chip factories necessary to make the custom circuits used in the iPhone; in addition, it can produce the large quantities of the parts Apple requires.
@@rushandcrushgamming1083 It's possibly the weakest characteristic of the phone. Only has 3100mAh but it's okay for the size of the s10e. Mine lasts an entire day
This one of the best comment sections ever. All I'm seeing is "I've been with iphone for such and such years and now I'm switching to this Samsung" 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Samsung getting that major love and support!
Does any one know if there is a shortcut to a numerical keyboard on the S10e ? i hate using the straight across method above the keyboard, coming from the galaxy s5 I'm ready to go back to it frustrating to say the least
Just a heads up to everyone who has the S10e. The color saturation of the screen even when Vivid is enabled doesn't display the saturation correctly... To fix this "enable blue light filter" and set it at the lowest possible then go back and look at a picture you will see how it is no longer washed out. I assume they are going to fix this in a future update. Cheers 🍻
One of the biggest things I missed when I had an iPhone was being able to control ringtone and notification volume independently. So glad to back on Android.
Cristian Palade do it man! I did. It’s amazing phone. When going to Samsung you feel like you’ve been behind on technology even if you come from a newer iPhone!
Got mine today. My previous phone was a LG G3. Quite an upgrade - the screen is so much clearer. Finger print reader works great, phone is snappy and having 100gb free is wonderful.
I like the s10e even though I wanted to exchange it for the s10. It's a great compact phone, easy to learn and the quality is simply amazing. Truly a great video run over of the s10e.
That was an astoundingly good rapid-fire introduction, especially for me coming from Android 4 world. Twenty minutes to save hours of exploring. Oddly, at 14:40 in Advanced Features I have the Bixby Routines but no Bixby Button setting available. I don't think I will miss it.
Same here! 12 years of iPhone and nearly 30 as a sole Mac user. Just got mine yesterday. I love it and this video was great for making the decision and doing the initial set up. Since Apple ditched me in 2014 with discontinuing Aperture I've been slowly extracting myself from the Apple ecosystem for years. I'd never trust them to invest in anything I need to make a living again. This video finally decided me on the S10e. I don't miss the iphone one tiny bit!
I'm not a Lawyer but I play one on RU-vid fair enough. I’ve tried Samsung in the past but it just wasn’t smooth enough for me to stick with it. I don’t need the fanciest phone around by any means. I did however order this phone, and really the only reason being that I get significantly more trade in value for my old 6s from Samsung than Apple offers, and if it doesn’t work out they’ll refund it all and I’ll go buy the new iPhone se lol
@@mrkos87 battery is good I don't have the exynos version since I'm in US. I can get 2 days without using it only for basic calls and texts. Usually 8-9 hours without charge on high data and media usage
I just returned the s20 ultra yesterday for this one lol, still has reverse charging and the black mode and the light up around screen notifications and now the audio Jack and the fingerprint reader is awesome 😎
Just bought this phone (I know late to the party) and I love it. It has everything I want and none of the B.S. it's super customizable especially wth... I think it's called "goodapp" in Samsung's app store. Lovely custom themes, lots for free, just fun
Great video man but you forgot to show that when your phone is off and you double tap to get to the lighted screen you can swipe from the right to the left and it brings up a little menu of apps as well in case you didn't know that
Thanks for the information , I thought I was a big tech guy . Got my s10e yesterday and I'm switching from a s7 I had since it came out. Big difference.
@@Kobaliya My dad also owns the S7 and I own the S10e, the speed difference between them is noticable, but upgrading before 4 years have passed isn't a good idea. S7 still has 2 or 3 years of life left.
@@MrsClassicCouture Well, Samsung has been producing nearly perfect cameras since the S7. And S7 has a similar performance to the new A series. The same is valid for Apple's iPhone 7 Plus, too. They improved the camera drastically compared to the previous iPhone, the performance is still good to go and has a good display.
Fingerprint reader on the side seems awkward, my S9+ has it on the back, which for me is in the perfect place when I hold it in my left hand, my index finger goes to the spot intuitively.
Just got mine shipped 2 hours ago in yellow also!! Came with green case though Haha I'm honestly loving it so much. My brother got the s10 as well but I honestly love the e more!
@@tanmaytushar6884 the screen is so beautiful with picture and video. Unless you're really trying took for a difference between it and the s10, you won't see one really.
@@Venus-19 Trust me the s10e is the most customizable phone I've had. Though there are some features like Bixby which should be turned off and the phone is setup to not show the battery percentage by default.
@@neasairanen4240 I have the s10e. Literally my first day on it. The front camera is good but idk it seems like zoomed in. Also the back camera is decent. But I still don't think the app is optimizing it like how they do for Apple quality.
@@dmitriymishakov9948 the battery life won't be that different. It will still last pretty much the whole day as long as you aren't using it every 5 minutes. If your battery is low then you can quickly charge it. The S10e has quick charging ability
Jesus is the only one who can Save you From Hell. REPENT of your sins meaning ask God to forgive you in the Name of Jesus and Believe the Gospel that Jesus Christ died for sinners and rose again on the third day. 1cor15:1-4
Thank you for this most useful video. I was hoping the the "E" in "S10E" meant "Easy"...I was wrong. Something that used to be so simple as making phone calls has become so complicated. Unreal!
I just bought the Samsung S10e. I will say I'm used to buying $150-to 300 dollar phones and will say this is well worth the $700 I paid for this as I can tell a lot of R&D (research and development) went into to the making of this phone. Top notch. The only thing I I don't like is the battery life. I still have a lot to learn about this phone and this video did help. I'm glad I made this choice. I highly recommend the S10e to anyone.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. (I had no idea i could switch that bloody Bixby off - highly appreciate the instructions you provided, you Sir, deserve a knighthood)
Thank you so much for the tutorial. My last phone was a galaxy 7 edge. ive had it for years. I'm not one for change but my mom gave it to me and told me to stay with the times. I am four days into using the galaxy S10e and have lost interest in it by day two. haha I kept telling myself to give it a chance and watched your first 10 things video and it gave me confidence in learning how to use and be friends with this phone.
Thanks so much! Since I moved away for university I haven't been able to help my parents out with tech as much. Mom just got this phone and sending her this video was a huge help! Thanks a bunch
TBH I reckon the only real thing that makes the S10E look cheaper than the S10's is the coloured camera housing. If the cameras were blacked out like on the bigger phones I think it would look far more premium, perhaps a dBrand or other black vinyl wrap could 'fix' that?
Yeah I went to preorder the s10 a few days ago and I accidentally picked up the s10e I didn't realize it wasn't the s10 until I didn't feel the curved display it looks even better in person but you're right the colored camera housing makes it look sort of like a toy
I need to have an information technician standing next to me whenever I want to use the S10E. Glad I did not go for a more complicated model. I can't even figure out how to find the Menu and Settings buttons, or answer an incoming call. So effin difficult! The stereotype that old people don't adapt to technology is absolutely true.
@@govindmenon1859 Ah I see. I'll probably still use them because I've already gotten used to the gestures and the extra screen is worth it to me. Still waiting for mine to get delivered.
@@fnn5526 I think it's really good. I have the s10e black one. I charge it at the night for 2 hours and when I come home it still has like 30%left (I play on my phone and stuff so I can have other results)
just bought my 1st Samsung phone the S10e, hope I love it coming from the MotoG's, excited but a little nervous about the switch, hop I can figure it all out sooner than later, thanks 4 posting this vid
Got my S10E and loving it its not small at all nice size i feel sorry for the people that got The S10 because it is the same phone as the S10E the only thing is different is the camera who needs 3 or 4 cameras anyway i don't either you get the S10E or S10+
Thanks for uploading this video. I've not had a Samsung in AGES and I've just purchased one. Am currently using Huawei so this is really helpful for me
Please tell me how to disable the drop down notification panel screen while on the lock screen. My settings are available to anyone even on the locked screen.
I don't think you can. But even if someone tries to get to your settings, they won't be able to, because they have to put a password in (if you have one). I hope this helped! 🙂
The S10e has a 1080p display, so it's most likely already set to that. Like englando08 said, I don't remember seeing an option to change the display resolution in the display settings on the S10e.
check out this link -> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0IYzsHGBLu0.html. I am planning to buy the s10e. Might as well share this guy's battery test for those who are interested.
