The battery should go to Huawei for the following reasons: 1. Samsung has a larger battery but still conked out before the Mate 40 2. It conked out even though it was on a stable surface - in normal day to day usage you have to take into account the fact that the S21 Ultra has a battery drain issue associated with the camera using OIS even when the device is turned off and in your pocket - this leads to easily losing a fifth of your battery during the course of a work day with only 15 mins of screen use. The Huawei doesn't suffer from this issue and so on the day to day use it is a lot longer lasting than the s21 Ultra
You doing excellent job.. hard to find content like this on you tube.. the only department where u need to address is speaker system of the phone .. try adding that it will complete comparison then..
4K video definition depends a lot on the bitrate (the amount of data saved per image). I think that Samsung is using a small bitrate this time, maybe to save on weight due to the fact there's no SD card slot on the S21 series. But apps such as mcpro24fps will let you use a bitrate as high as your device can manage: 220mbps on my N20U Snapdragon (meaning a few seconds of video recording will weight several hundreds of megabytes). For information, it seems that the 8K bitrate on a a S21U is only 80mbps... It's easily to see by filming a bit and checking the file on a computer (contextual menu, details). This also means that native camera apps don't always give us the best our phones can do and it's often worth trying others camera apps. In Samsung's case though, they tend to be very jealous and limit what third party apps can use (like being limited to the main lens). Exynos SoC appear to make it easier for the application devs to find loopholes and ways to bypass the limitations, especially for Filmic Pro with which Exynos powered Galaxy phones can do better than their Snapdragon counterparts.
I don't think Geekbench is a relevant test anymore as it seems that some Exynos 2100 units managed to clock a 4000+ in Multi-Core. Even thouh it might just be a one off, just peak power or a test realised in special conditions (like those that used to achieve very high clock speeds on desktop CPU, using extreme cooling setups). The more I watch reviews, the more I'm thinking of not using Samsung anymore. I don't like that they followed the Apple trend on removing stuff, that they still use different SoC per world area, or even different cooling systems (making it a gamble to get one of their phones). And other manufacturers start to do better now. I'm waiting for Google to bring some modern camera hardware to their Pixel line, to see what Sony will give us with a periscope lens, or what Huawei and Xiaomi will do. Not forgetting BBK Electronics (the owner of OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo and RealMe).
I think the refresh rate difference would be, huawei you can do 90hz on highest screen resolution, but with Samsung, highest resolution you get only 60hz
It's not fair even the Huawei won, you compare the Huawei mate 40 pro plus vs the galaxy s21 ultra or huawei mate 40 pro vs galaxy s21. Huawei is the BEST.
I agree. Huawei mate 40 is far better with expandable memory , 50w wireless charging .66w wired charging and an ir blaster. Even note 20 ultra is better. It seems like all 2020 phones did a better job. Samsung let the ball drop this year.
THAT'S what i call a review. A fair and down the middle vs review. (I still think the battery should go to Huawei) Thanx so much you just found a follwer in me. Much love from Saudi Arabia
Not sure whats going on in the video Huawei has old OLED display Also 90Hz refresh rate, HDR video support, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor Samsung wins this Storage is old ufs with huawei and samsung has 128GB (UFS 3.1)
No samsung have 120 pls and huawei have 90 so samsung is faster and smooth than huawei and if samsung snapdragon version soo samsung win and better than huawei
@@sheikhsaqib6011 You're saying all the wrong HUAWEI's faster KIRIN is much better 90 Hz is balance Better battery life HUAWEI Is the smartest There is no Forsemple between 90hz and 120 Hz
Overall, both phones are great, but damn i really cant stand the camera module on the Mate, just like on the Mi 11 Ultra like wtf? Hate me all you want, but you cant convince me into buying a Mate, would buy it if the camera wasnt a big ass circle...
But man, when you take photos with the S21, it seems like you have no idea how to get the best out of its cameras, In my point of view they both have 4 points
@@advancedmicrodevicesofficial Huawei doesn't copyies other phone but other phone copying from Huawei design.huawei cost more than 500 million dollars for design
LoL when u say we are surprised, means we are samsung fan we didn't expect Huawei to win, so when the margins are small give the benefits to Samsung, if it's vice versa call it equal,
I do, Huawei deserves better, Huawei claims that this year, they are going to announce the brand new P50 and Mate 50 series, and it is very possible that both of this year's devices will be released with the new "Harmony OS", and it's actaully going to be better than Andriod, even tho it's still gonna very similar, also why hate them so much just cause the lack of Google?! Because Apple doesn't have Google either, they use "Safari" and their own App gallery, therefore this explains that they didn't need Google to compete against other companies bruh... so if Apple was able to pull this off, then why not Huawei, because Huawei are also making their own services, and are actaully getting better and better, so there's no reason to even hate them, right now Huawei's services are kinda poor yes, but that's cuz those services are still new, but I bet that once they upgrade it at the point where Google's services and Huawei's services are pretty much equal, they're definitely going to be back in the market!
@@space-eye7760 So when someone says no google they don't just mean browser they mean things that are support, owned or have google coding which Apple does have Safari share code within google servers just like Samsung they all share the Google code
Dude google isn't much of a big issue, because there's tons of really good equivalent apps that can replace Google apps, and for RU-vid, you can easily download a full exact copy of RU-vid called: "RU-vid Vanced", it's like the special RU-vid for Huawei, and it also works with original RU-vid, for example: If you go to a video on RU-vid Vanced and write a comment, any user that uses normal RU-vid will see your comment. It's really easy to install, just a few simple steps and that's it..
Well, actually you can install full GMS services, just serarch on youtube there are dozens of solution. I just updated my system to HarmonyOS and GMS are working perfectly fine to me. Also it's faster, smoother and the battery life are longer
If only mate 40 pro plus had google and was legal in America I would get it but il stick with s21 ultra till huawei p50 pro plus becomes legal in America or mate 50 pro becomes legal
