Back when headphones jacks was in phones I preferred the exynos soc because it's DAC was vastly superior then Qualcomm's DAC. With this being moot I'll be fine with a snapdragon CPU
Those who're lambasting Exynos should probably watch comparison reviews. The S20 Exynos was shit but the S21 and S22 are basically the same as the Qualcomm variant. There's very little in it.
The problem with Exynos is that it is average at best, probably sub-par and Samsung has to downgrade their SD8G1 phones so the discrepancy is not too apparent, as that is bad PR. So we get restricted Samsung phones hobdayed by Exynos. Even Samsung knows that they are rubbish so no idea why Samsung Knights continue to make excuses. MediaTek is better with lower wattage and therfore less heat and better battery life. That is the foundation to getting the best out of your phone. Exynos may not be dead as Samsung HO are currently investigating why their fabs are so bad (half the yield of TSMC) and I suspect that the fabs will be closed down to reboot them in a year or two once they have worked out the problems.
The Mediatek 9000 and 8100 look really good so far! I would have no problem buying a Samsung phone with a Mediatek chip. I just feel a bit bad for their engineers. Less performance and battery life ok, I can maybe overlook those, but when it affects the photo and video quality....that's unacceptable.
Quite surprisingly my Kirin 980 received an update recently to emui 12. 4 years of flawless updates... Honorable mention to Huawei. ✌️ I had to edit this and also mention the knuckle gesture enables you to keep your pen in your pocket like the M-pen with the clip 😉
There literally is. The S22+ is £999 vs £435 for the S21 FE on Amazon (only came out January). They're virtually the same phone. S22 is much smaller remember. For the vast majority of people I'd recommend the FE. Top tier quality for not a top tier price.
No mideatech is far better than exynos because i am using a Samsung phone for 5 years now with mideatec processor and its still the same but i just bought s20 plus 2 years back and my god the performance decreases drastically even with 30% of free internal storage and it heats like crazy even without using it extensively just using it for regular tasks so mideatech is always better ovler exynos in all aspects and snapdragon is even better.
I'm with you there buddy, I've had phone's with it there before and i actually prefer the finger print scanner on the power button, my daughter has a lower range Samsung and its there and it works really well so they have the technology to do it if they want.
