I got immediately excited, since now we not only can connect external monitors and recorders, but also connect the phone to a computer with a capture device (such as my Elgato Camlink) and stream video or use the phone as a very good webcam for video calls.

So the new thing is 8K recording and HDMI output at the same time. HDMI output was possible back in 2015 on Galaxy S5 already. I can not remember anymore whether the camera app worked at the same time, but I remember that the adapter that I had bought back then no longer worked after switching to S7 Edge. I was really pissed off as I could no longer mirror the screen in a perfect wired quality😒 That S5 was just amazing. I have many roller coaster videos recorded in Director's view with rear and front facing camera in parallel.

This is available for a little while already afaik. In camera assistant>clean preview on hdmi displays. I don't know what the big deal is. This is working on my s22u

You can also use the Tab S8 Ultra as a camera monitor wirelessly using samsung flow.

I use both of them. galaxy and iPhone. 8pin to c cable can let you transfer your data of iPhone like photos and video to galaxy. that is more useful

Where did you get the adapter that enables you to record from 2 phones simultaneously? What is it called? I was beginning to think I would have to invent something to enable me to record with 2 or more cameras simultaneously but only using one tripod. Currently in order to accomplish this I need to use 2 tripods. The third phone is used to interact with people who comment during the livestream. Thank you.
