Galaxy S24 Ultra: A Practical Review

My S24 Ultra just arrived today and I am loving it! Coming from the small S21, this thing is really impressively sleek. The screen, engulfing audio, snappiness, - all just awesome

I'm watching this on my S24. What a phone in my Opinion!.

Team thanos checking in. I love mine. I was forced to get the violet and even love that now. The dark plum purple looks so much different in person than the pictures and vids. Everything about the phone is a breath of fresh air coming from my couple months with an iPhone.

I got my s24 Ultra yesterday coming from the S21 Ultra and it is actually a giant upgrade. I'm very impressed so far. It just feels like everything is running smoothly and there's no hiccups at all.

I had the s22 Ultra and now I switched to the s24 ultra and it's an amazing upgrade i decided not to get the s23 because I wanted to wait 2 years

Just got mine in yesterday and I am in LOVE

Just got my s24 Ultra this last week only week in! Love the phone still waiting for my battery to settle to see how great ut is!

I’m coming from an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I just got it and I’m so excited to play with it. I think I am done with iPhone for a while. Glad today is Friday so I have all weekend to play with it ❤ got the ultra in Violet as well. It’s gorgeous!

I've used the latest OnePlus, Vivo, Huawei, and Motorola devices in the last few years but this device has taken the cake. OneUI has matured and has comparably fluidity and animations as other UIs and has way more customizations, and features then the others🎉

As far as performance goes, I haven't had any complaints with Samsung. No lag, no stuttering at all. I started with the note 8.

Upgraded from S21 ultra, and my favorite, and I believe underrated feature, is the dual record. As someone who likes shooting videos of my family, one of the common strategies is to get a wide establishing shot and a close up to get the expression. This makes it so much easier. BTW, night photography is incredible now. Maybe not from s23, but from s21u, it's super noticeable

Can you please make video about your phone setup like the wallpaper and icons pack that you are using. It looks superb and very minimalistic. Please make a video on that.

Awesome review Parker! Just got my titanium blue S24 Ultra and I love it! Battery on my S22 Ultra wasnt so great and this one is lasting me more than a day. The other features was worth an upgrade for sure. Flat screen heck yeah

Parker, you forced me to switch to an s24 ultra from 14 pro max and man, I'm loving every second of it. Just got it yesterday and can't stop exploring it. I tried switching from an iPhone to Samsung before but it wasn't my thing, now it feels like I've been using Samsung my whole life. Easy and simple switch. I still have my iPhone 14 pro max and will continue to use it for my business and work, but Samsung just became my favorite one for personal use and I don't think I'll ever go back to IOS, ever!

Finally got the update for the vivid and natural collor issues and wow now the pictures/videos look amazing! i was comparing pics with the 14 pro max which has a great camera and i have to say samsung is killing it. iphones take great pics but we have a new king in town. My s24 ultra takes pics just like the 14 pro max but even more detailed simply insane. Had to go with the titanium gray 512gb.

I was a longtime apple gal that being said? The biggest feature that I LOVE about samsung is the Bluetooth connectivity and how you can easily access your Bluetooth devices. It's the BEST feature. Apple doesn't have that and wow it's noticeable when going back to my work iPhone.

Had mine for over a week. Paid about 450$ and some change for my s24 ultra 512gb. Always had android and samsung since s2, but apple is great too I've always been around them and purchased and liked my ipod and use macbook pro as main computers. All youtubers will soon switch back to apple with new release also AI tech and will add RCS chat similar to imessage to allow communication better with android users. I like apple and android just always prefer android/samsung for phone.

When you're holding it, it's like you're not even using a 1/4 of its power! It's just so smooth & I put an AM Flim Glass Screen Protector on mine & oh so easy. Especially with the alignment case Fingerprints, S-Pen, etc. just work fine. It does show a little glare, but the screen is so bright, no worries 👍 I really love how the "Black" is really a Titanium Dark Grey..

I'm just waiting for the first software update that will fix the vivid color issue, enhance the cameras performance and the overall phone.

Hahaha I was on the fence, the more I look into it the more I'm like it's not a perfect device but really nothing is. I wish charging speeds were faster and face recognition was much better, worried about the gradiant and banding people have reported but think I'll buy it! Went from s9+ to s20 ultra now likely getting s24 ultra :)

I'm quite happy with my S23ULTRA. I didn't think about upgrading to the S24ULTRA. I'll wait for the next ultra from Samsung

I jump around a bunch. Currently using the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Pixel 8 Pro. I am definitely tempted to get the S24 Ultra and make it my main phone for a while though.

For sure this is peak design for Samsung. The refinement is apparently clear across the entire line.

I'm due an upgrade shortly, currently had an S22 Ultra for the past 2 years love the phone however I still think majority of the time my old Pixel 5 took better standard photos. I traded in my previous phone and paid $525 for the phone. I also got $150 in Samsung cash. This is a better phone than the S23U, but not worth spending full price.

I need to know what theme you're using? I've looked everywhere and can't find it.

The anti reflective coating has its cons too which you didn't mention. Colours when compared to S23 ultra are slightly dull. Only part where the camera is better than the pixel and iPhone is when it comes to zoom. How often do you zoom to take pics? Other than that Pixel and iPhone photos look much better. Pixel gets the upper hand. AI features are available on the Pixel as well. I would totally recommend the pixel over this if price is concerning. Even though Samsung has a powerful processor you wouldn't notice the performance difference in day to day use. If you're a social media guy, forget about the Android devices. Optimization on the iPhone is miles ahead.
