Galaxy S24 Ultra - REAL Day in the Life Review! (Battery & Camera Test!) 

12:43 The translate feature did a really decent job, from English to Spanish it was spot on, but from Spanish to English was just decent. That's expected because people from different countries use some expressions that won't make sense to a translator, your barber sounded Mexican so some expressions are going to confuse the translation feature but it did a good job for the most part..

It's crazy I've been watching this mean on and off again everytime I upgrade a device since I was in high school. His kids grow up so fast

I've heard the color difference on the s24 is because of a bug, where changing from "natural" to "vivid" in the color settings doesn't actually change anything. I'd say wait for an update and see if it changes anything.

The difference in screens is due to vivid mode literally not working on the S24. Currently, selecting accurate versus vivid makes no difference on the S24 Ultra. I'm hoping that Samsung fixes this bug soon.

Ive got a blue 1tb on order but went and played with a 24 ultra today at samsung to compare shot for shot with my s23 ultra. To my surprise the 24 ultra is actually better especially in zoom shots which i was not expecting! Love the flat screen as well...finally samung.

The scratch is from your Oura ring! I had the exact same problem and switched the ring to my other hand after I discovered it!

For the language translation to work properly, you have to download the different language packs. Go to settings, General management, language packs, and download the ones you like. Geez, I've only had my for S24U hrs, I knew I would have to download languages for it to work!

Amazing review Mr Jud love how you really use the phone whereas others tend to use it off camera and post it after they using it and as you said that your glad that the curve screen i was glad too using my s24 ultra now i can finally use the s pen without falling of the edge of the screen just like the samsung flagships and plus the screen vivdness problem will be gone away with an update so far this phone is a beast it is the s23 ultra again but more fresh and more polished im enjoying my s24 ultra thanks for the review also mr austin is getting bigger i remember he was just a small kid now hes a big boy love you my man ❤❤❤

I got the plus today with an otterbox defender pro. My S10 is sending me cease and desist orders.

I think the thing with the display is that its working with a warmer color tone, which I'm all up for, cause the blue, cool vibe on the S23U becomes a bit uncomfortable at certain times during the day. And if you use eye comfort shield, there should be no reason to complain about the new tone.

Titanium yellow looks good in your video. I got gray because the yellow looks too yellow online lol.

If anyone seen the new Samsung Frame Tv it has that anti reflection coating, side by side with older models you can tell it's dimmer and the colors not bright, same thing on the phone, but you would never know if you did have both products side by side.

Idk.. I’m used to having an iPhone for quite a few years. If I were to get this Samsung, won’t I just want next years also? Or if the next phone will have significant upgrades? Anyone have experience with this?

Fun fact: On Samsung or Android phones You can mirror, project to a projector or use dex to an external monitor to stream sporting events like boxing,UFC , football etc. On iphone you cannot its restricted! I stream to a projector when I go camping and the whole site loves it!

I picked up the Titanium purple and I love it. The screen is muted cause of the Anti reflective coating it makes the screen don't look as bright

I think you have to turn on adaptive brightness on the S24 for it to actually reach full brightness in the sun

I picked one up and love it. Definitely best phone out right now! I just feel like the Z Fold 6 will do amazing things this year especially with the cover screen because they was in 3rd place in foldables last year playing it safe. I definitely believe I'll carry out the year on Samsung though

The screen difference is literally Vivid mode not working. This is a known issue samsung says FW update is coming to fix it. Also HDR is not as bright on S24U vs S23U which is also a bug.

I noticed that it wasn’t mentioned in the video. And I’m not sure about other videos on the S24 ultra. But there is another really cool feature in which you can now crop unwanted items out of not only pictures. But also video footages. Which I think is insane. I’d like to see how it works !

See, now that’s what’s convincing me to finally go back to Samsung no screen edges. I came from android from a Samsung galaxy note 9 to a iPhone 13 Pro Max now a 14 Pro Max and now I’m thinking of going back

Nokia Lumia phones were the FIRST with cornering Gorilla Glass and it was tough as hell. I never used a case or screen protector for mine and it worked fine, no chips or scratches.

This isnt complicated. If you put tint on your phone's screen, which is essentially what the new glass is, its going to mute/wash out the colors of what you see on the screen. Which is why its less vivid than the S23U

I actually like that the colors are a bit less saturated. Before it felt almost cartoonish with how punchy the colors were. This feels like a great balance.

The "muted" brightness on the 24 could possibly be the complimentary anti-glare coat on the new screen??

I’m not a RU-vidr;I’m not getting this awesome beast of a phone. So many reviewers are ecstatic about the flat screen display. The rounded edges on my 😅 SGNU 20 never bothered me. People’s complaints were that trying to write with the SPEN on the edges deleted text. Which was an annoying truth😢. Kudos to Samsung for listening to their customers and your UrAvgConsumer😀👍🏾!!

Nicely done. I use google lens alot. I do like the feature on the S24 where you can circle the item now. This comes in handy if the pic is already on my phone. If not I just use google lens.

I'm on the fence getting the S24 Ultra and the only thing keeping me is taking pictures indoors of kids and pets. Is it really that bad on the S24 Ultra? I have a Pixel 7 Pro right now, which at least doesn't disappoint in that regard.

Don’t have to take a picture to use circle to search. Can just have camera open & use circle to search while object is in view.

the reason for difference in colour to S23 is because the S24 has a anti glare screen meaning it removes some of the colour

Ive had my s24 Ultra 3 days now and loving it. One thing i found is the fingerprint scanner doesn't work with a screenprotector. Im using a high end thin screen protector, turned on added sensitivity and added new fingerprints with the screen protector. Anyone else faced this issue?

That new "text call" and "call assist" is actually super dope. I never thought phones would ever have such a feature on them and always thought you would have to download a 3rd party app for that. Iphones need to step their game up because this phone and android phones in general are starting to call to me haha

Just watched your video and the reason for the difference in the darkness of the screen like on the hardwood floor is what pixel setting you have it on. I have it on the QHD setting and it is more vivid and a little darker but like I said it's a bit more vivid.
