I still use it I tried the s24 ultra 512 gb I had issues when I unlocked the phone and open an app the phone goes back to the lock screen do it has bugs. I returned it keeping note 10 plus till next your
I don't see any reason to swap/change my Note 10+, it's the feeling and comfort in the hands i can't let go. The phone runs smoothly and stable, like a new phone. Every phone i tested is heavy and thick but the note10+ beats them all. This is my second note10+, bought it when it released, Exynos version and after three years i got me the Snapdragon version in Nov 2022, brand new sealed. I'm taking good care of it and i wont let it go until it dies on me. There will never be a better design wise phone like the Note 10+.
It's very hard to give up beloved devices. You almost feel like your being disloyal to it, or abandoning it. When I finally sold my 11 Pro to my local dealer, I actually choked up. That's really bad.
Makes sense our phones are with us even more than our lapdogs they do become our constant companions no matter what anyone wants to say. That's why people get so critical about their phones.
Man, I loved my Note 10+ but I just couldn't see the display outdoors here in SE Texas. Then I got the S22 Ultra & kept my Note 10+ and I was amazed at how bright the 22 Ultra was! Now I got the 24 Ultra & boom! This is my baby. I traded my Note 10+ for the Watch Pro 5 Titanium & the Tab S7+ & came out on top during that special Samsung Sale. Think I had to pay $70 out of pocket. Then I got $800 for my S22 Ultra from my Carrier. I had to jump on the 512g S24 Ultra for $400 out of pocket. I don't like payments 🤟
It's my belief that Samsung gave customers that and other great deals to try and get some of these Note 10/10+ out of the market. They realized that they made a nearly perfect device that could potentially hurt future sales of newer devices, hence the big trade-in deals. Smart move on their part, but as I'm writing this on my Note 10+, they didn't get mine.
My personal review: There's so many Note 10/10+ users out there that Samsung actually put out a 200+MB update that fixes security issues and other things. My N975U1 is rocking the original battery and screen and still works great. I use a 45 watt Chromebook charger overnight and have been for over 3 years, no issues. I get better than 6 hours of screen time, everything is snappy and responsive. Even if it were to suddenly stop working, I think I would get another one to replace this one, and the only upgrade I can see myself using would be some super powerful gaming phone, even though I don't game.
I got the 24 ultra, first purchase since my note10 + with the exynos chip. Must be the 12Gb ram because it st still runs beautifully and I'm running around with both phones now because I can't bring myself to put the 10+ away 😅
Love the Note 10+ so much I was thinking of getting a new one just to have as a backup. Instead I'll likely wait for the prices to drop on the S23 Ultra and get one of those later on down the road, unless the Note 10+ suddenly dies on me. The added value of being able to plug in more memory via micro SD is beyond invaluable, and the design is second-to-none.
Still got my Note 10 Plus!!! Traded in my S22 Ultra for the new S24 Ultra 1TB... so now I use 3 phones daily... Note 10 Plus for gaming, S23 Ultra for the cameras and the new S24 Ultra for calls, social media and pretty much everything else till the S25 Ultra drops.
@pesgamerz9822 I'm not rich, just pretty good with conceptualized ways of spending money on material things. For example, I paid for my very first flagship phone (back when they were cheap) by saving my money within the same time frame (one year) that it takes to launch the phone. When the phone was half ready, I had half the money. I never craved the current phone that everyone was raving about cause I knew I was aiming for the better one. This way, at launch, I was able to buy my flagship phone with all the pre-order perks; saving EVEN MORE money simply for being ahead of the curve. Purchased my first 2 phones this way and when I got my third, I gave my first back. Then I saved EVEN MORE and now, I always have the latest 2 phones on the market. If you try this method, just keep the ball rolling and you'll always seem like the rich kid on the block, but you're really just the smart one. "Hoard money or hoard knowledge... either way, you're rich." Cause rich people don't need a lot of knowledge and knowledgeable people don't need a lot of money... think about it. 😁
I feel like there must be a significant amount of us who are still using the note 10 plus. I was one of those people that upgraded every year cuz I love innovation. I feel like it's not worth it anymore. But at the same time I'm getting bored of the same look and want something fresh. Maybe I'll just change my launcher

Not me sitting here thinking about getting the dang N10+. If it weren’t for the update issue there would be no question because so many features are on it that I think are worth dropping my iPhone for. Refurbished $280 is “high” for me on something I should only get one year out of, but I also think using it as a tab and storage after its death there isn’t really horrible considering how much you still get on it for the money. If you only had $300 to spend, what phone out there would you get? 🤔 Speaking from storage, camera, and refresh rates specifically.
I'm using my Note 10 plus for the last time this morning. My S24 ultra arrived yesterday evening. I'm going to swap them out today. My Note 10 Plus has been a GREAT DEVICE 👍! I'm going to miss it, but I'm excited to open my new S24 Ultra!
4:20 it might be like the 2012 scenario, where both Note 2 and S3 have the same proccessor, witch is Exynos 4412, but the Note 2 version was more powerful than the S3 version. this made the Note 2 last till 2019 while the S3 last till 2017
4:18 Could probably be a battery degradation issue. My s20fe is having the same issue when it first came out it was fast but now Samsung members is telling me that my battery health is bad and needs replacing as well my phone being slow.
Also, your S10+ might not be running as fast and smooth as the Note 10+ because the S10+ is standard 8gb of RAM, and UFS 2.1, whereas the Note 10+ is 12gb of RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
I was using both S10+ and Note 10+ together for many months till I bust the S10+ screen snowboarding 😢😢😢😢 now i got a replacement S10 hope to swap to it tho it's smaller. Note10+ always babied in chest pocket. Too good phone.
I just got an S24 Ultra after using daily my Note 10+ from early 2019 until today, it is still amazing that with very very heavy usage, work email and teams, gaming, lots of youtube, live streaming, music, just heavy usage 24/7 for over 5 years that the battery is still lasting me 5.5 hours per charge. The big benefit of Note 10+ is the super thin and light weight design yet it packs the same screen size, almost the same features as the S24 Ultra. The big change is the screen refresh rate which is very very noticeable, the larger battery is a big help even if the Note 10+ battery is still holding strong at 5.5 hours, the lack of 5G on my Note 10+ is an issue as I do a lot of road trips and tether to a laptop and it is a big problem not having 5G so that's a big deal for me. I for sure will miss the Note 10+, it has served me well for 5+ years with 0 issues. It was a bit delicate of a phone with so much glass but I only had a simple basic thin flexible case on it and eve after dropping multiple times it never cracked the glass or even damage it so well made for what it is. One big downside of S24 Ultra is the crappy big camera bump I had to buy a case that makes the camera bump flat with the back, as I use my phone sitting flat on a desk, that's how I like it, so I had to get a thicker case making the whole package even bigger more than Note 10+, it's a chunker - S24 Ultra + case that makes the camera bump and the back flat is about 30% thicker than Note 10+ with a case that makes it's camera flat with the back. Considering the Battery is only 800mah larger on S24 Ultra it seems strange it is so much thicker I guess just the cameras really.
I currently upgraded to a zfold 6 after 5years of the note 10 plus aura glow color. However it's hard to give up the note 10plus it's very versatile, large display, microsd, solid camera. Tbh only good thing about the zfold is it can record up to 8k, better fingerprint scanner and has the fold out screen other than that there's really not a whole lot going for it. I definitely will use both however I'm not giving up my note 10 plus. Never had any issues with it no breaks no fixes never had to send it in, and still have the same battery and it carries me through the majority of the day on a full charge no issues, crazy eh. The phone is amazing 👏
I can't believe how much of consumers we have become. I guess if I looked hard enough I might be able to see a slight difference as long as both pictures are put side by side. Luckily I don't have the energy to try. I'm glad I just bought another note 10 plus for the price I used to buy old school flip phones for. This time 5G so maybe I'll get better service.
Note 10 Plus on Android 9 is the best phone ever, updating ruined the phone and significantly slowed it down! I've already disabled software updates on my s24 ultra to after the vivid update to keep it running faster than it will ever be! You're welcome!
How come you never got the Note 20 Ultra? Also, the Note 10+ is personally the best phone I've ever used. My wife is still using hers and actually refuses to get a new device lol
I have an S23 ultra but something about my old note 10+ just feels amazing. its thin, feels refined, and just feels like one of the best phones that samsungs made.
Yesterday I got 6hours and 29 mins of screen on time with my note 10 plus I still love my phone and I have kept it fresh just a few scratches on the screen guard but everything else is okay
My note 10+ battery is shot & the spen keeps disconnecting so it was time to trade her in for the s24 ultra & don't see getting anymore than the $400 that samsung is giving for trading it in
I became a Samsung fan since the S2. I loved the pop of the Amoled. Still do. I have the latest iPhones but still prefer to watch content on older Samsungs like my S20 Ultra snd Note 10+ because of the contrast. I dont need my screen to be natural. I have my eyes for that.
Love my Note 10+. Only reason I'm thinking about upgrading is because my battery has had it. Was thinking of upgrading and holding onto the s24 for a decade haha
Note 10 plus ain't getting any more security updates. No android 14 one UI 6. Hope you still get security updates? But honestly,note 10 plus is an awesome phone.
I returned the 3rd replaced s24 ultra because of lots of bugs and it does not seem any better than note 10 plus. The non curved flat screen is better for protectors but it looks washed out. I will keep for long as i can had it checked out my battery is 95 percent good..
It's a perfect phone in my personal opinion. Still have it, but regular Note 10 not plus version. But damn, despite it lacks some features of plus version, it is still incredible. Only battery has became weak. But I want to change it, and will keep my Note 10 another one or two years
The guy is trying to convince himself of I don't know what. These two smartphones are like day and night. The Note 10 plus although I liked this smartphone has a lot of weaknesses. The battery in particular. But if I'm given a Smartphone with the design of the Note 10 plus and the performance of the S23 Ultra for example, I'll take it without hesitation!
I have a mint condition note 10 plus traded for s24 ultra the s24 ultra has been buggy. I returned it to samsung and to my suprise they sent back my 10 plus! GREAT I cannot give it up either.. I did not find to much better on the s24 ultra maybe battery, and its too heavy
1:38 flat display is acient and cheap. for a 2024 Ultra phone to ship with a display from 1992 is stupid. go back to the curved display. aslo bring back MicroUSB because at least is newer than flat displays
The Note10+ served me well until I broke it. Instead of replacing the $300 screen, I bought a second hand $800 S22Ultra. Honestly speaking, I miss my Note 10+.
I still use my Note10+ after 4.5 yrs. Its a beautiful phone which I find prettier to look at than even the newest ones. The camera however broke 2months ago and tomorrow I'm getting the S24+. I'm not excited at all
Nah I just watch it for the video. And I just like to hear ur take on why. Mostly agree with ur things. I personally did thing the S10 phones where the best most complete phones Samsung made. It had the SD card still headphone jack. All the goodies still.
i bet if you had the 5G variant you could stretch the note 10 out a couple more years. and thats only because the 5G variant doesnt have all the bands for 5G that all the carriers use today unfortunately.
@@Ilegator who needs 5g? the carriers do. as verizons LTE has become oversold the network has started to churn to a crawl. litterally verizons network without 5G upgrades is worse than sprints before they got shut down.
I look at replacement phones and then i get oneui6 and it bugs out devices. So i look at competition and really theres barely any. I could go low end but whats the point something like a34 5g then i look higher end and probably the best is oneplus 12 but then no stylus and no microSD. Really no point anymore so my mobile repair guy local guy is making bank keeping my main old flagships running across my big family. Sad there aint nothing to upgrade to. Might buy an iphone 13 pro max next year to replace my iphone 11 which is the only apple i run. Samsung just aint making moves that speak to me!

My day-to-day on my Note 10+ has been great. I recently had the screen replaced which has a new battery built into it, and my battery life has been wonderful. Stupidly, I decided to trade this guy in for a $900 credit with T-mobile, but I may just go ahead and spend the $1400 to pay the new phone off and keep the N10+ for work-related tasks. I'm very conflicted. T-mobile gave me $55 for the phone and $900 credit over the next 2 years. It kinda pisses me off that they do this kind of thing. They could have given me $300 for the phone and $600 credit for the next 24 months. So, I have a bit of a dilemma. I have the money to pay the full price for my s24 ultra 512. Do I keep the N10+ and sell it or use for work-related business? I'm in a 2 week grace period shortly once I receive the S24 Ultra. So, do I sent the s24 ultra back, pay cash for the new phone and keep the N10+, and or just move on with trading it in and let them credit me monthly for the payments on the new phone? Also, the way T-Mobile does the monthly credits is sneaky. If I were to send my N10+ back to them, I have the 900 worth of credits over 24 months. What would stick it to them and be optimal for my own situation? This was a great video and I appreciate you going through all the points. And for what it's worth, I love my N10+.
