I have the s23 ultra and man is the best phone I've had ever and I really wasn't expecting it to be that way. I don't want to upgrade until it stops being supported
The anti-glare display is great during the day but bad at night. When watching videos in the dark it has this weird blooming effect that hurts my eyes. I ended up getting an S24 instead. I'm probably 1 percent of 1 percent of people that can even notice this! Lol
I upgrade every year as well, but I give my old phone to my daughter and trade in the her old one. Example being I have the 24U , gave her my 23U and traded in her 22U
@SofiaSclafani You would be right generally , but I didn't mention that my daughter takes over the payments for the 2nd year, and the phones traded in are already paid off . At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if anyone agrees or not , I decide how to spend my money . I have enough disposable income to pay phones off in one go, but when I can get them with 0% interest through Samsung , I'd rather keep the interest in my account .
@@SofiaSclafani not sure how it works for you but I buy my phones cash. Setup my S24U, hand the S23U to my wife and end up selling her S22U. Again not that I have to or it's worth but that's how I operate. To each his own.
@@afrolintin I don’t use tempered glass. I use anti reflective screen protector from Samsung. I don’t wanna ruin the fingerprint sensor speed by using tempered glass.
I had an s22 ultra . When I put the case on my s24 ultra, I really feel like I am usually the same phone. If you aren't using the A.I. features, you will not really notice the difference. So.... congratulations you bought the same phone twice and if you upgrade yearly, they got your money 3 times for the same phone with little tweaks. My wife still has her s22 ultra and I fool her switching my s24 ultra with her s22 ultra
Save money and go for the S23U. It's still a great powerful device. Someone even argue that the cameras are still better on that device.. and it now has all of the same AI features that the s24 ultra does
@@Josh_Quinonez I already have :) Just wanted to justify my purchase and felt at ease lol. Phone prices are crazy here in Turkey because of the taxes... It doesn't even make sense to buy the S24U here. Thank you, and great video btw. liked & subbed.
Great video. I have both phones. I traded in my Note 20 for the s24 Ultra so I can keep my s23 Ultra. I really like how the s24 feels in the hand. I like the wider phones. But I really like the s23 altogether. It is a great phone.
Recently subscribed, thanks for this video, I'm currently using the OnePlus 8 pro, but battery drains quite quick and screen burn is annoying, this is tempting me to upgrade.
Holding out on my s23 ultra until trade in deals reach sub $400 for 512gb. I’ve seen the deals this past year with s22 ultra trade in for the s23 ultra, if they do it again, I’m jumping ship! Would love a flat display and that anti glare I keep hearing about 😮💨 that titanium color be calling me name 👀
I would love a video of your honest thoughts and opinions of these companies offering 7 plus years of software updates. Maybe they should include 7 years of battery replacements to go with that. It's rare to have a battery stay strong that long. What good is having a phone for that length of time when batteries degrade. Thank you for all your work you do. We appreciate it. 🙏
The way ppl like you kick a gift horse in the mouth replace your battery, not an entire phone yeah you’re right that’s such a terrible thing for these companies to do.
S24 ULTRA HAS the screen GLARE MINIMIZER, THE 7 YEARS SYSTEMS UPGRADE! THE S24 Have a much better camera than the s23 Ultra I am definitely going to be delighted with my s24 Ultra!
For someone that shelled out that much money to buy the s24 ultra, there's no way in hell that you will use the phone for more than 3 years. You'll definitely want the next shiny thing. People who actually use their phones for very long time are those who usually buy midrange phones. They are not really into phones all that much and have less money
Here's the way I see it. With the years of updates now starting with the S24, it will hold value better. If you didn't trade in your S23 Ultra, then if you try next year, good luck, it will be worthless in trade
I never trade in anyways, I just keep it and give it to a sibling who needs a phone as passing it down since my phones are always in a case and with the wraps and protectors still on it, so it's more like brand new. I prefer buying devices out right as I do not think the offer is equal to what my phone is worth at the time of the trade-in.
I wish I never bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It feels like the iPhone 13 Pro Max which felt like my iPhone 11 Apple never inundates it’s super boring I feel trapped. Terrible assistant no multitasking no Apple Pencil it’s just not a great great experience. @apple @samsung
