As a "fair" samsung fan, this is my opinion: Samsung got their animations way better this time. But they still feel somewhat laggy if you open apps *during* the closing animation of another app. Apple on the other hand, always had the better animation in my opinion. The smoothness you get on the 15 Pro Max is insane. Big respect to Apple and what they are doing.
@@fred3259 same here using the s23 ultra right now getting my s24 ultra in a couple days but yeah if Samsung gets their smoothness down it would be the best phone on the market imo
One UI 6.1 has definitely improved the animations there. It looks so much smoother now. I can confirm this because I have the S24 Ultra now and its scary fast
All these phones are smooth and reached their plateau already. Every phone might have a small glitch and stutters here and there so these comparison are not really meaning much. In the end we win because we get amazing phones from different companies and it’s all subjective which echo system you prefer
Even on my old galaxy now 9 with animations and transitions turned off , for an old 2018 phone it still feels pretty snappy considering it's age, but yes consistency is a thing and at times it takes a second or two too to load a page , but it's still very usable . And whether I have my iPhone or pixel 8 pro sitting on the table next to me, I'm still just as happy to pick up my beloved old note to do stuff.
I absolutely agree with you, I also find it absolutely awful when I have to wait half a second longer. life is so short and I just can't muster that kind of patience
the s24 seems like the clear winner to me this generation, not sure how he saw smoother animations for the iphone but that ram memory check on the samsung was super smooth compared to the iphone.
@@speedXchess only apple fanboy thinks that's a downgrade samsung is just better accept that or just waste your money on iphone no one cares and your opinion only matters to blind apple fans who just what's to justify there purchase of iphone lol
@@neengayaru13 yes it’s scam I hate Samsung….when apple give the iPhone 15 pro max titanium finish then Samsung got the idea from apple …they are real apple enemies
This may sound a little picky, but I am not a fan of the squared off edges of the s24ultra. IMO they should’ve kept the design of the 24+ and it would’ve been a home run.
Totally agree. Said the same today when I held them in a store. Also I do not understand why everything is square on the ultra EXCEPT for the side bezels. Why make these curved making the bezels look thicker than they are. Just have them straight like on the regular s24
That scrolling lag is there while it's not on iPhone cuz samsung(Android in general) can swipe faster and scroll a lot of content in one fast swipe it depends on the speed, like if it's taking u one fast swipe to get to a part in a page on Android it would take 2 to 3 extra swipes on iphones So in one swipe Samsung is loading a lot a time, if u scroll slowly to emulate the right speed matching the iPhone there won't be that "scroll" lag. It's just one is loading lot of content and other isn't. P.s it sometimes happens and sometimes it doesn't depends on the quality of the media too.
I'm amazed that more reviewers don't comment on this. Every time I use my wife's iphone and I'm scrolling, it's really smooth and fluid, but soooo slow, it's infuriating. You can make it go faster if you flick fast a couple of times but that's frustrating too. I can forego some of the animation smoothness as long as it does want I request faster.
@@ashchowdhury2895iOS is optimized to look better and work smoother If the next content isn’t loaded it won’t let you scroll down to look at choppy page i think it’s the implementation for any apps I’d prefer this over fast scroll and glitches content
I have both. If I am going for the largest slab in the US, I am going S24 Ultra. Its is tweaked perfectly, not only for productivity, but just the overall aesthetics and the way I like to navigate in general. For the normal 6.1 to 6.2 inch phones, there is something about the one handed feel of a smaller iphone that is unmatched. Kinda wished I grabbed the smaller pro instead of the pro max.
One UI feels heavy based on my experience or maybe because of vividness and I like it but S24 Ultra is now have smoother animation also retained it’s smoothness just wow (iOS animation is better for me) and I agree it’s not the smoothest in the world but one of the snappiest if not the snappiest and that’s the King of display at least for me.
Not the point of the video, but that S24U antireflective screen just looks so much better than the 15 Pro Max's whenever they get lifted and moved about.
iPhone of course lack customization (for kids to play ) and have some great convenient features, but still iPhone is the best user experience for browsing the web , the main feature in smartphones . Safari read mode and as block extension , scroll buttery smooth animation is just levels above . Browsing the web on android phones is a mediocre experience and this is the resin I always return to iPhones . I will maybe buy the s24 because I always rocking two phones . But again iPhone does some things that are important so greatly better than the others , that it is difficult to switch . And of course the video on iPhone is miles better than any android device .
Samsung had flat screens before since the S4 or the S5. They transition over curve displays since the S6. They first called the curve display “the edge”. Then they went full curve on the S8 and so forward.
The speed comparison video between Galaxy S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max is truly a remarkable confrontation. I really liked how the video performed the speed tests, giving me a clear view of the real-world performance of both phones. This is a valuable source of information for viewers to gain more understanding when making shopping decisions. Thank you for sharing!
App load times: when apple wins “it’s about the same” when apple loads same time “I’m gonna give it to the samsung” when samsung beats apple “samsung the clear winner” 😂
I've got both the s23 ultra and the 15 pro, and to be honest, the iphonr is smoother in everyday life. I notice some lags here and there on the s23u, whereas the iphone is silky smooth 99.8% of the time
@RealLagu Yes, there is. One ui 6.1 is noticeable smoother than one ui 6. Everyone who has used it can attest to this. The jump in smoothness is just as wide as the jump from 5 to 5.1
hi, thanks for your videos, i think you need to add more heavy apps and games for speed test, these are doesn't show real performance, it's more about animation speed, and maybe 4k video rendering
Literally shows how impressive and how much faster and smoother the Samsung animations are, then says the iPhone is smoother. This is obviously a paid advertisement. The S24 Ultra was better in every test. You're glazing iPhones hard.
What is with the jagged sharp edges on the Samsung phones now, they can't round them off nice like apples? I still say the most comfortable Samsung phones were the S5 and S6, they rounded off the edges, but today Samsung just can't dare go ergonomic because they just have to be different than Apple, Ridiculous
It's always exciting to see new technology in action, especially when it involves flagship smartphones like the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro Max! Speed tests between such high-end devices are not just about raw performance, but also about the innovation and advances in technology that make these devices faster and more efficient. It's fascinating to think about how much smartphones have evolved over the years, becoming not just tools for communication but powerful devices capable of handling complex tasks with ease. The comparison between these two giants of the tech world surely showcases the best of what the industry has to offer! 🚀📱✨
I dont know when animations became such a factor as long as the phone is fast and smooth. And those numbers dont matter in real life experience thats what matters. Idk how iphone numbers are so high but other phones are faster and the phone cant even multitask
@@SuperYankeechick Yeah. There are few but they do impact overall performance. Instruction set architecture, memory bandwidth, clock speed of single core.
@@chanel2-f1w I agree with you but the way he says he seems biased. I've seen his previous videos and his hatred for Samsung is clearly visible. P.S. I am just a tech enthusiast not biased to any brand whatsoever.
Great video! And I noticed the You Version widget which is when I realized you just created this video today because my widget has the same Scripture today! I know, I pay attention to the details 😂 Great job comparing the two phones!
He is using a different option on Samsung plus S24 ultra is having issues with brightness some are saying it's cuz of the anti glare screen and some are saying it's just a software buy so idk
Samsung galaxy s24 ultra is the ultimate beast hands down one of the most powerful phones in the world behind the iphone 15 pro max but in terms of camera software and battery life and also display samsung is the way to go 🔥🔥🔥
The main feature I’m looking for in a phone is reliability. The S 21 ultra had reception problems for me and I was scared to update to the S 23 so I bought the 15 promax and it has been a real champion. This 24 ultra looks extremely impressive but the only thing I am missing on the iPhone is the extra zoom. I will hold out and see what the iPhone 16 Pro Max brings but if it doesn’t give me at least 50 time zoom double what I’m getting now, I will be buying the S 25 ultra more than likely. Any more choosing between these phones, it’s like choosing between McDonald’s and Burger King, which do you like?
At 1:58 when he swipes left to the google cards side it freezes for a second. Even in 2024 a 1300 dollar flagship android phone has this lag. I used to use android phones and they always had this.
Did we all see that Iphone lag or is just that he wanted to give that loading oint to apple like bruh it tool the iphone half a second to load and you still gave it the point
Samsung crushing it really... If we look back at the other competitions between each phones generations, we'll see that Samsung is getting better and better every day.
