The Blu-tooth 'variant' is on BOTH.... Yes, BOTH Watches. They BOTH speak to the Phone you own... BY BLU-TOOTH!!! The LTE 'Variant' only adds the additional Cell-Phone part to allow the Watch to make Cell-Phone Calls without the Phone having to be present.

I have the watch 3 as well. My battery barely lasts 12 hours... bought it in early 2020.

Same here! The rose gold is hard to leave but I'll be upgrading b/c 44mmfor the GW7 is $129.00 gear os will be better than tizen and fortunately I've become more active so now unfortunately using samsung health drains my battery to death after a little under an hour. I wish I could keep the rose gold rotating bezel smh

Hey Sal, my suggestion they should ditch fake rotating bezel and adapt the same shape of frame which is squircle for Ultra. Also Increase more screen estate. 🤨 just let them know 😅

Hi, I own Galaxy watch 4 ultra Bluetooth variant. As stated earlier in another post..not able to install and open apps like insta, fb and some more apps installed on phone..any way to install these apps on watch ?? Does lte variant access all these apps ??

Main thing is providers charge 10 $ additional to use on the watch. Which is a big time expense to run the watch. Plus battery life would be compromised big time.

I'm in the same situation I could score the 7 44mm for 219 with trading my watch 4 (29 for watch and + 50 extra exchange value on it so 79 euro ) and 15 procent discount but I ask my self that question lookwise other than display and the red/orange and blue lines on the band I can't see much diffrence ( I wanted a classic one becausehow classy it looked but the did a apple move ) so I was thinking maybe I should cancel my purchase , also scored the buds 3 pro for 192 euros I think I'm gonna keep the buds and wait for the 8 classic

Yes, you have to have a plan.Though still connected to your phone number. Calling your provider will be best. The good thing is ,one can switch variants. (Either to use blutooth or LTE(esim)

The Bluetooth variant has WiFi, how/what is that actually implemented or used for? just curious because the phone and watch connectivity and sync goes via bluetooth.

If your phone is away you can still use the watch for any internet related tasks through wifi, using internet through the phone's BT will be slow so better to use wifi when available

Also, if you go to a place with WiFi (like the gym), you can leave your phone at home and still get notifications, stream Spotify etc. As long as you have WiFi signal, you get all the functionality you'd get from the LTE version.

I own LTE version of galaxy watch 6 to be honest I also thought I would use LTE on it however the Sim price of 10$ per month no thank you so if you're Sim plans are cheaper then go for LTE however go for Bluetooth as a personal recommendation don't waste money on LTE

Thanks for the video.I wanted the Ultra so bad, however after calling At&t and finding out the outrageous LTE connection plan I will be ordering the large Bluetooth watch 7 in silver. I survived all this time with the watch 3, I wanted to experience something different.
