Removing the spen defeats the whole point of the bigger screens. I have ZERO use for a tablet that isn't compatible with the SPen.

as good as it sounds but the price is just wild. over 2000 usd for a phone is just crazy. crazy thing is how chinese brands have got almost all the things of the upcoming z fold 6 ultra at significantly lower price. i mean just look at the newly released mi mix fold 3. it's got top of the line hardware and costs around 1200 usd in china.

Interesting, the fold has now basically reached no compromise status. Thickness is now within error of slab phones when folded and the screen size and ratio are now 100% normal meaning at worst you just have a normal phone if you're using it in a setting where it cant be unfolded. In other words, it no longer has to make up lost value through the unfolded state. it's just a big bonus at times when youre chilling. That's kinda sick.

The z fold 'ultra' size should have been the regular design and the actual ultra variety should come with s-pen and premium camera/housing etc. I've been saying this since the fold 3 days, but I only work on the bottom floor of leading tech industry for now 😮‍💨

When I saw MKBHD video, the first thing that came into my mind was the video you made. In as much as i respect MKBHD, he needs to tone certain things. I still think they need to make the phone aspect ratio correct so that when using the fold to watch stuff, we aren't seeing such a waste of space. Like what is the point of having the big screen if #1 you will see a lot of black wasted space or #2 you zoom in and can't see everything? I personally think they should stretch the phone out a bit to be more the size of a mini tablet instead of it's own size thing. Heck even make it fold vertically instead? I don't know man I feel like there are ways to make this much better.

I know I'm reaching, hopefully very wrong, but I hope that "thinning" doesn't cause the phone to be easily bent like any thin enough metal would.

From what I've observed.... 1. MKBHD says it like it is! 2. He said he "doesn't care they copy off of each other as long as the copy the good stuff" 3. If the ultra version of the fall comes out and it costs more than 2000 ice skipped, it's not worth it for a little bit extra bigger screen. But for other people, go ahead, go spend 10000 if you like respect yourself, respect your budget, respect your job and respect yourself. If anyone plan to buy the phone more than two thousand thank good luck, you can get a cheap car for 2 thousand Or Cheap motorcycle

Definitely would love to see and feel this Ultra version in hand. Bigger screens sound great but I have truly become accustomed to how compact and pocket friendly my Fold 3, 4 and now 6 are. I was a Note guy and S Ultra guy for years. Those feel positively gigantic to me now in the pocket. The 6 is definitely the most polished, balanced and svelte version yet. So glad I upgraded. And the screen is noticeably better from the 4. Hopefully with all the traction in reporting the Ultra will come to the US. Would be a mistake not to include our market.

Any word on when the Fold 6 Ultra is launching? I'm shocked that this info is still coming out. Didn't think the ultra was real anymore since Samsung only launched the fold 6 on its own, no slim or ultra. Hope it's soon

If you in outside South Korea especially US, you can import that phone same like when you ordered exynos or snapdragon 800 version of 4g galaxy s4 that exclusive for South Korea market. But it will be more expensive than actual price. Additional info: There are another Samsung devices that exclusive for South Korea market that is 4g Galaxy S3 with quad core exynos chipset and 2gb ram & Galaxy S5 that comes with snapdragon 805 chipset, 3gb ram & quad HD display.

Now that I have a fold 6, I'm not upgrading for another 2 years. So hopefully ZFold 8 gets all these new features 🤞! I was very disappointed in MKBHD. He was acting like Samsung made their first SmartWatch and copied everything from apple. He sounded very biased and gave me heavy Isheep vibes.

That's much better, didn't know why they had the front display so narrow. Hopefully it will get bigger battery and faster charging speeds. Shame i don't live in those 2 countries.

If it can be as big and wide as the S24U when closed then thats a game changer. The whole reason i never liked the folds is because when closed, they look weird and unnatural. When closed, they should look like and be as big as the S24U. Still disappointing its 6.5 and not 6.8.

Honestly i doubt the "ultra" they are working on is releasing later on this year is going to be the bigger version of the fold 6. The rumoured bigger screen one is probably planned for next year fold 7 and not fold 6 ultra. It makes almost no sense for samsung to be canibalising the sales of fold 6 to release something better. Knowing samsung, it's more likely to be a fold 6 FE. Which they have been doing for many years for the S series. Which were also wrongly reported and rumoured many times.... Samsung is not dumb to make such a rookie error. If they were to release a fold 6 ultra, they would have released it alongside the fold 6.

Without s pen support, this is NOT an Ultra. This won't be released worldwide. This design is to compete with Chinese brands in Korea and China. Big screens with very thin bodies... sound familiar? Hopefully Samsung will launch a proper Ultra version of the Fold 7 globally next year.

MKBHD Did not do a good enough job at reviewing the both the ultra watch or the samsung fold. He very rearly does year on year, he linkes his apple watch and thats that. He likes hi pixel and i think he likes the S24 Ultra, but again its like Samsung doesnt like him so he gives them minimal air time
