no those stock rotors are floating. they are both the same tech. just the factory are riveted not E clips

After 2 years how do you find them? I recently purchased a 13 inch galfer rotor for the front of my Harley Davidson. I am swaping out the Brembo floating rotors I have on the bike currently. The brembo carriers started to rattle after like 5000 miles because of the vibration and aluminum carrier. I heard some guys with Galfer rotors having the same issues with their Harleys, so I'm curious to hear from the sport bike side of Galfer rotors

Hi Jonny, our personal experience is only on the track with the galfer brake rotors. We have done quiet a number of sessions and have found the rotors to work perfect. We have not had any issues with the carriers at all mate.

Also, Harleys are a different animal to sports bike and I don't have much experience with the Harleys.

I've seen fully floating rotors that rattles and moves along the hub. Are the race or superbike version of this rattles and moves more freely?

Hi mate. No there is no rattle and you cannot easily move them side to side. Just did a recent track day with these and I could not be happier.

I have the same rotors on my 2008 gixxer, I just want to know does it move up and down or I need to change the bobbins ?? cause I feel clunk sound over bumps when riding slow (10-15 km/hr) ??

Hi Mohamed, they should definitely not move up or down but only side to side. I would recommend you to get a experienced mechanic to look at them. How old are the rotors?
