I appreciate how objective you are when you review maps/mods etc... Certain content creators seem quite biased and definitely show favoritism. If the mod is by a "cool" author it gets a pass. Also I wish they'd watch your videos explaining why maps have required mods. These guys make this stuff for barely any compensation so I don't see any need to rip them apart when you don't like or understand the mod... Especially when they don't take the time to understand the how it works. Sorry for the rant and thx for the vids Farmer Klein.
Thank you, That is one of my goals with the ratings was to put every map on the same scale while also being respectful of the time and vision of the map author. There are plenty of high rating maps I have no personal desire for and some low rating maps I think are some of the best maps for FS22.
I really appreciate that your thumbnails indicate which maps for fs22 are 4x larger. Finding a bigger maps on modhub is frustrating but thanks to your videos I can easily find maps that will help me forget for a moment that fs maps are still pretty much small and closed. Thank you
Great review as always FK. Personally I really like the star rating and explanation in the thumbnail and also it's extremely helpful that you list whether a map is 4x or not on there, too. All in all a great resource and much appreciated.
Farmer Klein, bedankt voor deze mooie verkenning van deze map en het vele werk om deze video samen te stellen.En altijd perfect afgewerkt groeten uit België 😊
bottom right corner of the map when you buy the land comes with a field that the weird boundry cuts through the center of the field so overall unless you paint that field out it affects your precicion farming score as you can only harvest / work half the field
HOLY COW😍😍😍😍😍 I'm amazed and blown away by this map. And soon big. This is incredible. The buildings, the technology in the production on the farm, it's hard to get it all in and understanding that it is in this map. I mean, if this is possible in Fs22. This is what I demand and expect to be included in FS25, as built in base game production and possibilities
This is just so beautiful. But do you feel it has I demand in terms of graphics and so on..? I would guess so since it has a lot of trees as well as it is a 4X map
Now I'm just very curious and impressed about this map as well, so not sure if I'm going to start with the Brazilian map or this. I guess I will start on the Brazilian first, because I guess I should upgrade my graphic card and ram on my computer first. I guess this requires even more than the green mountain map. But I'm amazed about this map as well and will play on it in the future
I'm actually starting to question the quality of your reviews. I feel like you've lost touch with the reality of what FS22 is today in 2024. This map is at best a 2.5/5 as it neglects a huge part of what FS22 offers as a whole. What you should do is create a rating system that covers all the features of FS22 2024 covering platinum, premium and base game, as well as the smaller DLCs. If a map does not include/support features for any one of these, remove 1.5 points immediately. You score these maps with a 5/5 or a 4.5/5 and they are literally only offering something for a certain segment of FS22 and neglect other segements. Quality maps and quality reviews seem to be almost non existent these days.
Then I would have to redo 300+ videos with a new scoring baseline. The point of this is every video is reviewed with the same scale based on base game elements. Not everyone owns every DLC. While somewhat frustrating its understandable why a map author would not want to require one or more DLC to play the map as it would put a big limit on the possible playerbase.
@@FarmerKlein Right now your scoring system is flawed, period. It's not trustworthy and nothing you produce is complete. If your rating system rated a map based on the 3 main areas; base game, platinum and premium compatibility, then perhaps they could be considered honest reviews. Not only that, perhaps they would encourage map creators to make an effort to support more than 30% of what the game has to offer. Instead, we have all these maps that support a minority of what FS22 has to offer and dishonest creators giving them high reviews for minimum game compatibility. If map creators don't want their maps to have a lower score for being compatible with minimum content then perhaps they should make effort to go beyond base game and increase there maps compatibility with the entirety of what FS22 has to offer. Minimum viable effort does not equal quality. Minimum viable scoring does not equal quality. Do better.
Every map will be reviewed upon the same critera. I wont be going back and redoing old maps based on premium or platinum. Both are paid optional content regardless if they are offical DLC or not. Not everyone has them. Feel free to produce your own reviews I encourage folks to give content creation a try.
