The best time to visit is between August and February, when the monsoons have graced the Camp and the river flow kaafi achcha hota hai and the forest is rich and green. This is the ideal time to spot birds as river terns, Fish eagles, woodpeckers, kingfishers and many others flock in large numbers. In the drier months, the receding waterline reveals wide sandbanks where you can wade in the many lagoons. The summer months of starting from March to June can be extremely warm, especially in the afternoons.We had gone there in third week of March this year.
