It is effin crazy that a completely disfunctional show like Shameless brought us one of the most passionate love stories ever on (cable) television. I respect and admire these actors so much for giving their all to these characters and their rollercoaster of a relationship. Noel Fisher has been around for a while and has a penchant for intense characters which he plays well. Cameron was so young when the show started and has grown so much as a person and actor. He's sexy as hell too! As much as I would have preferred these roles be portrayed by gay actors, Noel and Cameron have never shied away from these characters, their story and it's importance. For that they deserve sincere acknowledgement and recognition.

The way they touch each other when they kiss is what makes it so intimate and real. Who doesn't want someone to kiss them like that? With that kind of intentionality and intensity. It's so sexy and beautiful at the same time which is why I think we respond so emotionally to it. Their love burns white hot and it is incredible to watch.

They have literally gone through hell both as individuals with their own issues (family, Ian's diagnosis, Mickey's rape and marriage, etc.) and as a couple. They let go each other too many times, they cheated on each other (intentionally or not), they yelled at each other, they beated each other to blood, they were apart several times for a long time. But one thing nobody could doubt of: they have never stopped loving each other. Their journey was fuckin hard, but they finally found each other because they have always been meant to be, since the beginning. Maybe they needed all that time apart just to find each other at the finish line, just like Sheila said once. Your edit is wonderful.
