The fighting and arguing in 11 is what some marriages go through in the first year. Especially when two people with different backgrounds get married. Ian had Fiona, who wanted the best for him and tried to teach him to be good and honest in most cases (not all). As she did for all the kids. Mickey grew up with one set rule, thieve, beat, and kill to survive. Jail is where you’ll always end up. They’ll work it out in the end, they’ll just have to struggle to get there. I think that type of love is immense, no couple is perfect but if they try to pull through then they’ll make it. I just assumed that’s what the writers where trying to get across, marriage is learning not just bliss.

Результатом "растворения" является утрата интереса партнера, потеря его уважения, отсюда и отношение, как к половой тряпке. Микки перестал быть тем, в кого Йен когда-то влюбился. Йен и бросил его в конце 5 сезона. Любой психолог скажет, что "растворяться в одном человеке" губительно для отношений. Со временем Микки научился уважать себя, теперь он проявляет заботу, но больше не забывает и о своих интересах, не отказывается от себя, даже если это не нравится Йену. Возможно, именно поэтому Йен и не потерял к нему интерес спустя столько лет. Да, первая любовь, преданность на 200%, но в то же самое время теперь Микки больше не позволяет Йену вытирать о себя ноги. Они по-прежнему ругаются, да, но теперь учатся договариваться, ищут компромиссы, удовлетворяющие обоих. Наконец-то и Йен научился уважать, ценить Микки и прислушиваться к его мнению тоже, а не вечно смотреть на него сверху вниз. В последних сезонах они наконец-то доросли до полноценного партнерства.

I cry every time i see them together and their is a sad song. I love them SO MUCH. They are my favorite People and couple in Shameless. Micky Protects LAN no matter what they have been through. They are meant to be. I cried so hard when Micky found out LAN had bipolar. He wanted to rake care of him. I Cried so many times watching different videos of them. I know that it was just a Good Amazing Series but why couldn't this be real. I want to hug them. I love that they got married. The day Micky relished he found an amazing Boyfriend,Husband,Best friend,Side kick, Lover, he new that he could not let him go. He would not feel the same love for anyone else like he loves LAN. LAN will never stop loving Micky no matter if he has a boyfriend. I love how Micky told everyone in the bar he was gay or LAN. Even thought he new his dad would beat the shit out of him. He still said it. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH THE CUTEST PEOPLE IN SHAMELESS

I love everything about this edit. It literally made me tear up. I've just recently finished Shameless and love these two characters and their story. Bravo on doing such a fantastic job and choosing such a great song. It suits them perfectly.
