I come pretty late, but this game is a jewel i used to play it in japanese on my ps1 at age of 7 or 8 max and i would try my best to get the hang of it and i loved the races and how i could navigate it and play with against my sister and relatives ! that was such a nice experience and i thank you a lot for the series and the tutorial to play it. (i hope you fixed the sound of the game being too loud in the other videos)
Im glad you enjoyed this definitely is still one of my favorites because it is truly a jewel and it's the game that kickstarted the gallop racer series! I definitely did fix the audio issues just check out my most recent videos of this game in the playlist on my channel
I'm not really into horse racing, but just wanted to try it out. Never knew it existed as a kid. So, I was going back to my old games and trying out some games I never got a chance ot play. This game is actually kinda fun. In my mind it's like involved just enough to not be boring but not be too complicated either. I lost interest in a lot of racing games as I got older, because they started becoming a bit more complex with gear ratios, suspension etc.
@@HorseRacingGamer It is truly a obscure and fun game, this game needs more coverage on youtube because i can barely find videos about it. Its time consuming and needs planning but its cool being a manager and jockey at the same time. So many stats and choices to make, a true classic.
@@HorseRacingGamer When i was a newb many many years ago used to play nothing but the short races 6-8ft i found these the easiest and my favourite horses for early game were Local Chief, Fierce Elite and Noble Chapel .
