Why couldn’t Newt be immune and Gally not. Like dude Newt is the most lovable character in the series, he’s smart, funny, friendly, smoking hot (you know I had to say it I’m a fangirl), and a really loyal friend. I miss him
This might just be me but I think Newt ending up dead made him more likeable. Now, obviously it was VERY sad when he died (yes I cried) but it just made us all hate WCKD even more, making Thomas and the other characters need for revenge, a lot more understandable to the viewer. Might just be me tho...
if it didn’t happen would you be as attached to him? it had to happen to the character. It made the audience hate WCKD and it built the story. (and obvi it was sad but that’s the point)
