Action from round one of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, which starts in the stone wall county of Galway. As always with Galway the weather played it's part and made for an interesting weekend. Keith Cronin took the overall win, with Frank Kelly taking the modified win on the final stage. Make sure to Like, Share & Subscribe!!!

im not a big rally fan, but its nice to see people nowadays know the idea of momentum and dont stand in the way of a car potentially flipping over itself 9 times

Thanks as ever for posting this racing, it does my heart good to see old and new cars go at it hammer and tong. That Legacy sounded just lovely, as did the M3, the AE86 and all of the Mk2's, but the legacy brought a wry smile to my face.

Great video. Christ, Rafferty got some slap. Good thing they were all alright. Looking forward to seeing how Josh gets on once the setup of the Citroen is sorted

Thanks Kevin. Some slap but lucky was a side enough bank. Yes be interesting to see, was a good debut for him in the C3, will take a bit of time to come round to it fully!

Brilliant job as always, a good typical Galway Rally, i think the only thing missing was a bit of frost, it was nice to see all the modified and older cars there

Thanks, I’d imagine so. At least almost all loops of the rally were either wet or dry which probably made tyre choice a little easier! There no perfect tyre for some them slippy conditions😅

Great footage. Road surface looked atrocious in places. Made WRC Monte Carlo look like a newly paved racetrack

Some great footage! Nice work. The only ones who seemed to know how to drive were the cars at 03:03, 05:07, 06:15, 09:07. Have none of the rest of them studied Loeb? Degressive trail braking, progressive throttle control, line choice, etc! Almost zero finesse..

All rallying should be totally BANNED!!!!It's only promoting speed and encouraging young people to drive faster on normal roads which in turn can causes serious accidents.

@@crafter5458ya cos it's senseless anyway.Its all speed related.even some rally drivers get killed it's just pointless,it just promotes speed ,speed and more speed.teenage girl was killed last week here in my country she sat in with a teenage wannabe rally driver coz his brother did it.
