Love the details. When he empties a bottle like at 12:00 you can even see the liquid inside the bottle moving and reducing. THAT is good work.

I remember being 13 years old and saving up about £25 (maybe more?) to get this in 1992...and I bloody loved it! Got Krusty's Fun House that year too. Zelda: Links Awakening came out the year after, and I was in gaming heaven :)

Still cant wrap my head over the fact that in the 90s 1fps in black and white was a prime of an entertainment

This is a great port. I never knew it even existed until yesterday. I loved this game on Sega Master System

I love the way they transformed the Skeleton into a ghostly Guard, and the way Shadow walked slowly to Prince!

When all is said and done, how bad do you think the Prince had to pee after drinking all of those potions..?

...Why did the ending suddenly go German?

I have lost count of how many times I've put this longplay on in the background. I played the snes and pc versions of this a lot. Never this version though. May give it a try now.

It’s amazing how this port was able to put everything from the original version in it on such minuscule hardware, replicating the cutscenes and even adding some new animations, whereas the NES port straight up removed major elements of the game for no good reason.

Aaah Nostalgie

Even this is one of the not-so-good ports, I played the hell out of this as a kid. It was just a novelty to have back when I was limited to the PC and SNES versions.

It was one of the first games I ever played, I think I was only 4 years old when I first gave it a try. I kept trying over the next few years but it's just too hard for a child. Needless to say I never finished it and just watching this frustrates the hell out of me. I remember struggling with timing the jumps. And those fucking hidden holes and stuff. Or the character not automatically stopping and running into walls and making that sound. Ugh. Just finding this hidden plank around 2:54 took me hours.
