I remember being 13 years old and saving up about £25 (maybe more?) to get this in 1992...and I bloody loved it! Got Krusty's Fun House that year too. Zelda: Links Awakening came out the year after, and I was in gaming heaven :)
Good to hear! Played through Links awakening about 2 weeks ago, it's definitely one of my top Zelda games. Be nice if Nintendo released a gameboy collection for Virtual Console at some point. Then again, my games backlog is ridiculous as it is...
Of course they will, it will probably also get a copy of Another World/Out of this world, Lemmings, and a n assortment of other games that got ported to various consoles and home computers.
@@832738 Well RU-vid informed me that someone had responded to something I had written years ago, so I felt compelled to respond. As for how I am. Depressed, like I was five years ago. Feeling nothing has changed or become better.
I have lost count of how many times I've put this longplay on in the background. I played the snes and pc versions of this a lot. Never this version though. May give it a try now.
It’s amazing how this port was able to put everything from the original version in it on such minuscule hardware, replicating the cutscenes and even adding some new animations, whereas the NES port straight up removed major elements of the game for no good reason.
We can see easily the game that the man adventure to rescue his lover.Ex. mario, spartan, double dragon, karateka, ghost'n goblins, art of fighting... Love and war is the main theme of games like real life.
Even this is one of the not-so-good ports, I played the hell out of this as a kid. It was just a novelty to have back when I was limited to the PC and SNES versions.
It was one of the first games I ever played, I think I was only 4 years old when I first gave it a try. I kept trying over the next few years but it's just too hard for a child. Needless to say I never finished it and just watching this frustrates the hell out of me. I remember struggling with timing the jumps. And those fucking hidden holes and stuff. Or the character not automatically stopping and running into walls and making that sound. Ugh. Just finding this hidden plank around 2:54 took me hours.
Dude your channel rocks cause your always playin old games i never got a chance to beat. Im an 80s baby so i know whats up on gaming. I do have a request. Olease do “Lands of lore” for pc. I never got a hance to finish that game when i was a kid. Really would love to see the ending bro
