Even though it has a lot of limitations, I really like the interface of GBG, it feels comfy and watching people play and build on it is very relaxing. I personally really like GBG.

I’m currently making a horror game that is why I haven’t been tuning into streams lately I only have like a little bit done but this will help me with the jumpscares and I will be showing teasers on the WIP page on discord

what i did was put the failure loop on infinite and it created a sort of found footage vibe on top of pixelating far out things and it looks cool, only downside is it plays an annoying sound every couple of seconds

if you want Advanced Darkness, go into the world nodon and change it from night to pitch black. you will need a light effect nodon but if used correctly creates a REALLY spooky atmosphere

I need to be able to progressively generate new enemies over time, with the frequency and amount of enemies based on the player's current 'level'. I have everything except for the ability to generate new enemies....any thoughts on that? Eventually I want the enemies generated to be able to shoot at the player as well

If you want to spice it up a bit you can change the world light to pitch black so you can only see where the flashlight is giving out light

It worked for me but the flashlight does not work for me and now I have problems so that the camera moves backwards. Do you know how to solve it? If there are faults, it is that MY English is terrible and I translate it from the DX translator

Check the settings for your effect nodon to ensure they match mine! For the camera... check your control inputs are correct! No need to apologise for your English, everything was very clear!

I made a horror game called "Fatal Error" basically you're testing games and everything was fine until a virus called "Glitch 880" where the goal of the viris is to corrupt games to bring humans into the fatal areas which is filled to the brim of demons. I just need to add someone finishing touches and I will be done… for the first game 😈

How do you create a picking up system and an inventory? Is this even possible? We had a look and there was a suggestion to use a variable which we cannot find anywhere (asking for my son)

Hi Sanja, It’s definitely possible to create a system for picking up objects/items. Using a variable (not a single nodon but a series of nodon) would definitely be possible. I might suggest joining our discord and asking in ‘help-and-tutorials’ for more info as there are lots of community members who’d likely be able to guide you and your son through the process!
